Guest guest
Sorry, my call for help was sent too soon. I'm also doing lipoic acid, silver, zeolite, tiny amount of iodine, flax oil/cottage cheese, organic vegetarian diet, finished amalgam removal, and so on. I stopped all supplements to make sure that they aren't the cause of my tummy upsets. They aren't. Sigh! I just got the news today, and still have a bit of checking out, to make sure the chemo will be advantageous compared with a placebo. I started the FO/CC diet when the second course of chemo didn't give me remission. Two good years of remission past chemo, but that is now at an end!! Oh yes, several kinds of stress reduction as well. It's been a full time, fascinating and educational ride. I didn't think to ask today, whether the ovarian cancer in my abdomen is the cause of my 'digestive' symptoms, but will ask tomorrow. This far, it hasn't spread to my liver, brain, lungs, etc. Right now, I feel like I'm at the end of my rope. All suggestions, except for me to pray, will be greatly appreciated and carefully considered. Rhoda
Guest guest
Though elevated CA-125 markers do not always indicate ovarian cancer, those are pretty high levels. I would consider it good news that there has been no spread detected. I am a bit confused when you say: I started the FO/CC diet when the second course of chemo didn't give me remission.* *Two good years of remission past chemo, but that is now at an end!! When did you have this second course of chemo? And when did you have chemo that led to a two year remission? And I wonder just how much of a true remission that may have been. Cancer does not suddenly appear overnight, although chemo certainly paves the way for cancer's return through the damage it inflicts on major organs and the immune system. Have you done the Metal Magic or other metal detox? Removal of amalgams gets rid of what could be a heavy source of metal toxins, but does not eliminate the toxins already in your body. Keep in mind that usually oleander and other natural remedies are best, but there are times when oleander and chemo work better hand in hand. Ultimately, your situation may be one where that is the case. Also keep in mind that oleander sometimes beats cancer only after a long period of time, though you should be seeing improvement by now. Not sure how the effects of the prior chemo may have retarded the time it will take though - or, as I said, whether it might possibly take a bit of chemo to help turn the tide. Just remember that prolonged chemo is never the answer. It is just buying time in a battle it is slowly (or not so slowly) losing. Far too early to throw in the towel with a cancer that has not even spread past the primary site. You hang in there! Guest guest
Hi Rhoda, Sorry you are going thru this. When my friend had ovarian cancer, she had lots of stomach problems..she could barely eat, acid reflux, nausea, gall bladder attack that landed her in er. This was before she knew she had a very large tumor pushing her organs all out of place. She had the tumor removed and they did a hysterectomy. She felt 100 times better after the tumor was removed. She changed her diet and did opt to do chemo. She is doing well now. She had the op last Jan. Best to you. Nonie I didn't think to ask today, whether the ovarian cancer in my abdomen is the cause of my 'digestive' symptoms, but will ask tomorrow. This far, it hasn't spread to my liver, brain, lungs, etc. Right now, I feel like I'm at the end of my rope. All suggestions, except for me to pray, will be greatly appreciated and carefully considered. Rhoda
