Guest guest
Tony, I'm not beginning an anti-cancer protocol but I am beginning an aggressive liver repair/maintenance program. sent me this protocol you had previously suggested. I have been researching dosages for the various supplements. Not sure I have all the "right" answers but I have some answers. I would appreciate any comments/suggestions you have re dosages or anything else. Thank you very much. Guest guest
Phil -It is good to see you embark on such a program. The liver is vital for good health and a strong immune system.First of all, you should realize that it takes more than just supplements - which I believe is true for just about any condition. It is quite likely that you have a fatty liver, so keeping that in mind, here is what I would recommend:Begin your liver program with a good liver cleanse. And do coffee enemas to help keep the bile ducts open and flowing. Here is one suggested liver cleanse:5-day liver cleanse. It is best to have day 4 on a Saturday or at a time when you are staying at home. Day 1: Drink 1 liter (4 cups) of apple juice during the day. Eat as normal otherwise. Day 2: Drink another liter of apple juice. Eat normally Day 3: Drink a 3rd liter of apple juice. Eat normally Day 4: Do not take any sold food after lunch time 6pm - Take one level tablespoon of Epsom salt in a glass of water 8pm - Take another tablespoon of Epsom salt in a glass of water. You may find that you already have to take a trip to the toilet before the 8pm Epsom salt. 10pm - Mix one half glass of olive oil and three quarter glass of freshly squeezed grape fruit juice by shaking it very well in a jar with a lid so that it mixes well and immediately get into bed after drinking the mixture. You will probably make more than one trip to the toilet during the night as well as during the next day. Day 5: 6am: Take another tablespoon of Epsom salt in a glass of water 8am: Take one final tablespoon of Epsom salt in a glass of water. You will find that many gallstones from the liver will be passed and one will notice them in the toilet. They will vary in size from about pin head size to 10mm. Gallstones in the liver are a major cause of many health problems. The above liver cleanse can be repeated every month until one finds that for two months in succession no more gallstones are passed. The liver will then be clean. (You can read about this in much more detail in Andreas Moritz's book ' "The liver and gallbladder miracle cleanse" which you can download from his site at www.ener-chi.com).DietwiseNo alcohol other than perhaps a beer every now and then or, better still, a glass of red wine. One glass mind you.Reduce the consumption of refined carbohydrates from sugar and bread, pastry, pasta, noodles, cakes, biscuits and desserts. Increase the amount of raw fruits and vegetables Use raw vegetable juices. Avoid deep fried, fatty, and processed foods Aim to limit dairy foods including milk, processed cheese, cream and butter. Opt for organic yogurt and cheese such as ricotta, parmesan or cottage. There are also rice milks and oat milks to try. I do NOT recommend soy milk or any other soy products except the fermented ones such as miso, tempeh and natto. Avoid ALL margarines and similar type spreads. Avoid sugary processed foods and drinksAvoid or limit beef. If you feel you must eat beef, opt for small portions of free range beefLimit chicken and turkey that is not free range as this contains artificial growth hormones, antibiotics and steroids that increase the liver's workload. Drink 2 liters of water each day. Avoid artificial sweeteners As for the supplements, lecithin with choline - follow instructions on the bottlemilk thistle - 300 mg or slightly more three times a dayalpha lipoic acid - 300 mg twice a day (See the notes from the Berkson study below)selenium - 300 mcg (not mg) twic a day. Don't overdo it with the selenium.turmeric - 250 to 500 mg three times per day.coconut oil - a couple of tablespoons per daybeetroot juice - a couple of glasses per day. You can mix it with fruit juice, such as grape juice, to make the taste more pleasantNotes from the Berkson Study :Because alpha-lipoic acid depletes some of the B vitamins, the patients were prescribed 2 B-100 capsules a day. In addition, each patient also took between 1,000 and 6,000 mg. Of vitamin C, 400 IU of vitamin E, and a mineral supplement. The patients were also requested to eat a daily diet that included at least 6 servings of fresh vegetables and fruits, only 4 oz or less of meat per meal, and 8 glasses of fresh water. It was also suggested that the patients reduce their stress levelsThat should get you on your way to success.
