Guest guest
Dianne- We have been on a gardening spree around here and talking a lot about naturally ridding ourselves of the harmful pests. I found that vegetable oil mixed with some dishsoap (preferably bio- degradable) works really, really well. Just put in a spray bottle and mist on your plants. I occasionally use the eucalyptus and peppermint in dilution to spray with the veggie oil and soap if they are stubborn critters, but you have to be careful that there isn't too much in there or the oils will take a toll on the plants. I don't know where you live, but lizards of any sort are amazing at pest control. Spiders are your friend so be careful how many you kill. They are one of the more friendly creatures out there (as long as they are of no harm to you or your pets). Lady bugs are wonderful. Hazelnut shells are a great all-natural way to keep pests away (google it and you will be amazed, works well for roses). Anyway, just my personal experience. I am sure there are much better ways, but these are some good avenues to explore! Good luck! Guest guest
Neem oil is great for soil nematodes and as a spray for bugs and blood meal (used for organic fertilizer) when sprinkled all over the garden keeps rabbits and deer out. Sabadilla dust (a lily) will kill squash bugs. Guest guest
Am wondering if anyone ever experienced any of the " possible " side effects of the Sutherlandia OPC, specifically nausea or vomiting, or increased heart rate. Or if this is really just a worst case scenario and they have to put it on the label. Am starting this tomorrow - is it better to start with 1/2 tsp and work up to 1 tsp or jump right in with the full teaspoon 3x day, and if the need be, back off a bit? I have great faith in the product, just need a bit of guidance, thanks. cathy
Guest guest
Hi Cathy, Some people experience these side effects, and some don't. However, it is best to start at the minimum dose and work up slowly. Don't start on a high dose right away. If you feel any side effects while increasing the dosage, then drop back until you feel better. Actually, the discomfort should last a few days, but do not increase the dosage until you are ready. The best way to go is to follow Marc's advice. Guest guest
I have been on it for two weeks now. I start with 5 ml 3 times a day and worked my way up to 15ml 3 times a day. As soon as I went pass 10ml 3 times a day, I got increased heart rate, diarrhea and laziness. So 10 ml 3 times a day seems to be my limit. I actually like the taste now (weird!!). I am also taking Laetril (6g/day), and Escozul, bunch of enzymes, IP6, Immune power 4, Agaricus Blazie and lot of sunshine. I hope this helps. oleander soup , " fishsalmon2001 " <cathykush wrote: > > Am wondering if anyone ever experienced any of the " possible " side > effects of the Sutherlandia OPC, specifically nausea or vomiting, or > increased heart rate.
