Guest guest
Tony, Yes it does bind with histamine receptors but it can be helpful when the dog is taking prednisone as this will injure the stomach lining over time. I had to give it to my dog for a month while he was on pred... it had no side effects that I could notice and withdrawl is easy... you simply stop (NOT SO with the pred... this must be withdrawn slowly under medical supervision).
