Cancer doubling rates

Cancer doubling rate is the rate at which cancer cells double. In

general , normal cells die off and are replaced at regular intervals.

Not so in cancer cells, as part of their characteristic is that they

mutate into cells that do no die off and continue to grow unless stopped.

Let's say you start off with one cancer cell - in the microscopic

nanometer size range an undetectable. As it doubles, one cell becomes

two, two become four, four become eight, eight become 16, sixteen

become 32 and so forth. The time between doubling is fairly steady

and varies widely from one type of cancer to the next (and even from

one individual to the next). Some cancers take up to eight years to

grow to a detectable size of about a centimeter.

After twenty doublings, still microscopic. At thirty doublings,

finally detectable. Thirty five doublings is the average at the time

of diagnosis. Only five more doublings may result in death.

So, the doubling rate is very important to calculate for any given

cancer. It may not always be steady for all cancers, but in general

it gives an indication of the amount of time one has to fight the

cancer. With chemo and radiation, the growth is slowed as part of the

cancer cells are killed off, but usually not all - and the underlying

cause remains untreated. The remaining cancer cells become more and

more resistant as the chemo and radiation kill the easiest cancer

cells with each treatment (kind of like antibiotics ultimately leave

behind super antibiotics that require stronger and stronger treatments

until ultimately the treatments no longer work or the treatments kill

the patient by causing major organ failure.

The ideal scenario is to first slow the doubling rate, then halt it,

and finally reverse it until the cancer is gone or else is benign -

and to address the underlying causes and strengthen the immune system

so that the cancer never returns. That is what my protocol is

designed to do.

Your time is not coming to an end, Rhoda, this is merely the darkness
