Hi Alenka,

I would like to extend you a warm welcome to our little " family, " I

want to thank you for sharing your story and for encouraging Bonnie.

Your post is most informative.

Also, if I may add, colloidal silver is a marvelous healing aid for

pets. I don't know if it helps specifically with anemia, but it will

build Honey's immune system and make her stronger, together with

everything else you are doing.

All I will say is that colloidal silver has never failed me, not for

anything.

Hugs,

Hi Alenka, Just so everyone knows, here is what nutri-cal is:

Corn Syrup, Soybean Oil, Malt Syrup, Cod Liver Oil, Cane Molasses, Methylcellulose, Water, Peptones, dl-Alpha tocopheryl Acetate (Vit. E), Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Manganese Sulphate, Iron Peptonate, Thiamine HCl, Nicotinamide, Calcium Pantothenate (source of Calcium and Pantothenic Acid), Magnesium Sulphate, Pyridoxine HCl, Vitamin A Palmitate, Potassium Iodide (Source of Iodine and Potassium), Riboflavin 5' Phosphate Sodium (Source of Vit. B2 and Phosphorus), Vitamin A Palmitate & D3 Concentrate, Folic Acid and Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12).

Guaranteed analysis per teaspoon (6 grams)

The only thing of any benefit at all is cod liver oil. Can't tell from this, but, in the past this product used to be petroleum based. Maybe they changed that, but, these are not ingredients I would give to my healthy dog, let alone, an immune compromised one. JMO.

I doubt if the "ensure" type is any better. I would be very leery of using any products that are made for "pets". They are usually synthetic and poor quality products. As I mentioned before, slippery elm, which can be made into a paste and the homeopathic remedy nux vomica 30 c or x will help with nausea, if that is why he is not eating.

Bonnie, you might want to consult with an animal communicator and see what Cody wants.

Best,

Nonie

But there is also a high-calorie nutritional supplement called Nutri-Cal made especially for pets who are not eating, it's a paste that comes in a tube. Also there is a liquid "ensure" type of complete liquid canned nutritional supplement for pets, which also comes as a powder that you mix with water.

I gave Honey all kinds of remedies, Essiac, olive leaf extract, black walnut & wormwood extract, artemisinin, beta glucan (shrinks tumors & helps the immune system) and many others, as I did not know about oleander soup at the time. I also gave him a lot of nutritional supplements, including whey protein and that also helped bring back his appetite. Whey protein is very good for debilitating diseases, when the patient won't eat on his own.

I just wanted to tell you not to give up on Cody, but in addition to the remedies he also needs a lot of good nourishment and vitamins to make it and he needs you to give this to him if he won't eat on his own.

Good luck to both of you...

Alenka
