Guest guest
I know where you are coming from, but I completely disagree. If I had a relative whose life I might be able to save and I hesitated to try I would always wonder " what it " in the event that the relative's life was cut short by cancer and/or cancer treatments. The fact that the doctors have diagnosed the cancer as fairly early could actually be a selling point. Show them the facts about mainstream versus nature and tell them about the success rates of oleander and the protocol I suggest - and ask them why not give nature a chance first instead of allowing radiation to inflict damage and then possibly handicapping nature with the task of beating the cancer and fighting against the damage from the radiation. Until modern profit oriented western medicine gained dominance, nature was always the first choice for thousands of years. As Hippocrates, the father of medicine said, " Nature is the physician of man. " A person with stage 3 cancer who has so far only had surgery to remove a tumor and 4 lymph nodes should stand an excellent chance to beat cancer and live a normal cancer free life thereafter. If it were me, I would go ahead and do what I could and then have a clear conscience if the decision went the other way. Other suggested reading to re-inforce your arguments would be: " Death by Medicine " and " Death by Doctoring " Books and articles by Dr. Ralph Moss " The Secret History of the War on Cancer " - a must read! and perhaps do a Google search for doctors quotes on cancer, where you will find gems such as: " The National Anti-Cancer Program is a bunch of shit " - James Watson, Nobel Laureate for Medicine in 1962 , joint discoverer of the double helix of DNA, and for two years a member of the US Joint Advisory Committee on Cancer " During the last 10 years of my practice I utilised many therapies that were not in the mainstream of medicine. they were safe, non-toxic and very effective. When I retired I travelled and researched other therapies...I spoke with many doctors and patients who were getting excellent results from these alternative therapies and witnessed their success first hand. It is time to seriously question and reject the standard orthodox cancer treatments of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, except in a very few instances. You may have difficulty in obtaining some of these therapies..because the FDA has literally pressured Congress, under the guise of protecting the public, to keep time-honoured cultural and natural therapies out of the hands of the general public. If you look at the record of the FDA, it becomes obvious they are serving interessts other than yours and mine. The 'cancer establishment' is a network of extremely powerful and wealthy companies whose members sit on the boards of many non-profit organisations. They literally control and direct all cancer research within the USA and throughout the world......Although these centres are non-profit they serve their masters by suppressing most, if not all, non-patentable treatments in favour of the expensive treatments therapies that have wrought havoc with patients while losing the war against cancer. " - Dr Willner " Conventional cancer treatments are in place as the law of the land because they pay, not heal, the best. " - John Diamond, M.D. & Lee Cowden, M.D. " Finding a cure for cancer is absolutely contraindicated by the profits of the cancer industry's chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery cash trough. " — Dr Diamond, M.D. " We have a multi-billion dollar industry that is killing people, right and left, just for financial gain. Their idea of research is to see whether two doses of this poison is better than three doses of that poison. " Chemotherapy is an incredibly lucrative business for doctors, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies…..The medical establishment wants everyone to follow the same exact protocol. They don't want to see the chemotherapy industry go under, and that's the number one obstacle to any progress in oncology. " — Glen Warner, M.D. oncologist " The medical and scientific establishments have (largely through the fact that they have sold out to the enormously wealthy and powerful international pharmaceutical industry) obtained more or less complete control over politicians and the media.....advertisements for my book Food for Thought are still banned by Britain's Advertising Standards Authority because the book contains advice on what sort of diet to eat in order to reduce the chance of developing cancer. Because we refused to accept the ban the ASA (which, quite bizarrely, will not accept scientific research papers or even government publications in evidence) has warned newspapers not to accept any of our advertisements. The ASA claims to exist to protect the public but I find it difficult to see how banning a book that contains a summary of proven clinical advice on how to avoid cancer can possibly protect the public. It seems to me that, wittingly or unwittingly, the ASA is simply protecting the cancer establishment. I find it difficult to avoid the observation that the cancer industry would undoubtedly find it much harder to raise money if the incidence of cancer were cut. Guest guest
Tony, Your patience and compassion are admirable and far surpass my own. I defer to you. Best regards, Phil P.S. Did you hear the story about the little boy who was being punished by his mother? She required that he sit on a chair in the corner until he repented of his ways. However he was heard to say "I may be sitting down on the outside but inside I'm still standing up." Although I defer to you, I'm afraid my prediction remains unchanged. People who haven't done their homework about the overall insanity of chemo and radiation cannot accept the wisdom of non-mainstream treatment. Sad but true. Unfortunately it's usually their loved ones who pay the price for their ignorance. ============================================================================================== - Tony oleander soup Wednesday, July 30, 2008 11:59 PM I have to disagree I know where you are coming from, but I completely disagree. Guest guest
Hi Phil, Some people really, really believe they are doing the right thing by following mainstream medicine. They have just not been introduced to natural alternatives at all. I was one of those up until three years ago. I cared for my mother the mainstream way and I was the best little nurse you could imagine. It wasn't until she was in hospice when one day it hit me. " My God! It is these very medicines that are killing her! " But by then it was too late. All I could do was be there for her and she passed away not quite two months after that. After the funeral I went to my mailbox and got a piece of junk mail. It was about apple cider vinegar. No, I did not order the product but that started my rersearch into natural health and one thing led to another and this is where I am now. And don't think that I do not live with regret. " If I would have only known " she would be alive right now without oxygen and running a marathon. My mom was a pistol. The third anniversary of her death was on July 29th and don't think I didn't have that too familiar thought. " If I only would have known. " But the fact that I must live with is, that " I did not know. " Hugs, oleander soup , " Phillip Zachary " <phil wrote: > > > Tony, > > Your patience and compassion are admirable and far surpass my own. I defer to you. > > Best regards, > > Phil > > P.S.
