I look forward to following your results I too have prostate cancer - 10 years since diagnosis and throat cancer 3 years since diagnosis. I'm on my second bottle of oleander at this time.. due to the fact that My condition isn't good I started with three tablespoons a day right away and had no side affects at all and have not seen, felt or any change whatever from injesting this stuff yet.

I did the Protocel from Dec.2006 to May of 2007 and my tumors just got bigger.

Tony,Thank you for your prompt and useful response, which was exactly whatI was looking for -- and what I expected. For some reason, others outthere are choose not to present what they have to say in the publicforum. I decided to post one such interchange (below), if themoderator consents to do so. I appreciate the sound advice given. At the same time, I am concernedthat many of you may have missed the point of my posting. I was not inany way suggesting that any of the alternative methods I have triedthus far are not working. In particular, I believe that Protocelachieved much against great odds. It took two years for me to get back to the starting point in mytreatment program because of a wrong-headed decision at the outset togo with one of the options presented in mainstream medicine. After twoyears and four months, the PSA doubling time remains essentially thesame. That is not

failure, at least in my opinion. It is also not thesuccess I am seeking. I posted my results for all to see because there are some out therewho know a lot more than I do about how to interpret these numbersproperly. I will post a more complete picture as soon as the rest ofthe lab results are in hand. I personally count this as an opportunity to see whether or notoleander does what Tony claims it does IN A SPECIFIC CONTROLLEDSITUATION TAKING PLACE IN THE CONTEXT OF A MAJOR CANCER CENTER. I amfortunate that I found an oncologist who is not afraid of high PSAnumbers and determined to "normalize" them with hormone therapy. It iseasy to get one's PSA down into the so-called "normal" range, as Ifound out after taking that first injection of Zoladex in the officeof my oncologist the very day he gave me the bad news of my biopsyreport. That biopsy was done at my request, not his. Unfortunately,

Iknew virtually nothing at that point about the field of alternativemedicine. Here's an opportunity for the rest of you to play the role ofconsultant and help me design an experiment that shows whether or notoleander works in terms of reversing prostate cancer. I hope it does, but if it proves to be ineffective, there are still a growing numberof options out there -- all of them better than the two options myoncologist presented me on June 29, 2006: surgery or radiation.Hi Blake,I think you missed the point of my posting. I have no reason tobelieve that any of the things I have tried thus far have failed. Ishared a personal journey because I want to discuss the issues withothers and see if we can get some hard facts on the table to look at.I have not yet won the battle against prostate cancer because I made awrong headed decision at the outset to go with mainstream medicine.

Iconsequently spent many months getting back to the starting point. Ido not count this is failure in any sense of that word. I remainconvinced that there are dozens of therapies out there that work. I amtrying to find the ones that work best for me.This is an opportunity for Tony and others in that group to getinvolved in a specific well-controlled situation taking place withinthe context of a major cancer center to show whether or not oleanderdoes what he claims it does.Note: I personally believe that crinum is no better option than PCSpesand its sister products in treating prostate cancer. As the late Dr.John R. Lee put it in 2003: "Some people even think that PSA elevationis bad and should be reduced. An example is the company that produceda drug called PCSpes, which inhibits PSA production and causes breastdevelopment. In the past, I have challenged that company to produceevidence

that using the drug will lower the morality or extend thesurvival of men using the drug. No such evidence exists, to myknowledge. This is an example of blaming the messenger rather thanunderstanding the message." HORMONE BALANCE FOR MEN (2003), p. 20.I am not interested in lowering my PSA as such but rather in gettingrid of PCa (prostate cancer). Let's see if oleander does what so manyof you say it does.Duane*******blake frederick wrote:>> Duane;>> >> It seems you've tried about everything to no avail. Dr. Hoang gaveher a tea made with crinum leaves to drink, and about six weeks laterthe cysts were gone.>> Today, three generations of the Hoang family are integrated medicinepractitioners. The

family has used crinum together with othersupportive herbs in treating a variety of prostate and ovarianconditions. Biopsies confirmed 16 cases of advanced prostate cancerwere completely cured regardless of prostate specific antigen (PSA)levels. In fact, sometimes PSA levels go up in men taking crinum, eventhough testing shows that their prostate cells are normal and healthy.>> That is exactly what happened to Ken Malik, the co-founder andExecutive Director of the Prostate Awareness Foundation, a non-profitorganisation based in San Francisco in the US. In his own battle withprostate cancer, Malik chose to take the natural approach opting for atherapeutic regimen of nutrition and exercise. He also used the herbalsupplement PC Spes for eight years and found doing so stabilised hiscondition.> > PC Spes was a herbal formula that showed remarkable results intreating prostate

problems. Recently though, it was pulled from themarket after researchers discovered that some PC Spes productsclaiming to be all-natural actually contained synthetic, potentiallyharmful substances. Malik began his search for a replacement, whichled him to crinum.>> *92.6% success rate when it comes to reducing BPH symptoms> *Malik started taking crinum in January 2002 and, over the course ofthe next 10 months, his PSA actually increased. Most of the time, thiswould be cause for concern. But Maliks most recent biopsy showed onlyhealthy tissue. His experience might add some support to recentreports that claim the PSA test might not be the best indicator ofprostate cancer risk. Malik was excited enough about his ownexperience to organise a small informal trial with 10 members of theProstate Awareness Foundation.>> Participants were told to take nine crinum tablets each day

forthree months. All 10 noted some kind of functional improvement. Noteveryone experiences elevated PSA levels using crinum. Sometimes itsbenefits follow a more predictable path, like the testimonial from a58-year-old man who had a PSA of 93 when he went to his urologist fortreatment.>> Hed waited so long that his cancer had spread to his bones, intestines, and lymph nodes. He was placed on an aggressive herbalprogramme that included crinum. After just four months, his PSA wasdown to 0.9 and the symptoms hed been experiencing difficultyurinating, swelling in his legs, and extreme fatigue had all disappeared.>> Crinum can also help alleviate the symptoms of benign prostatichyperplasia (BPH) an enlarged prostate. The main symptom of BPH isfrequent and sometimes painful urination. There are over 500individual case histories of successful crinum treatment for BPH. Andafter seven

years of research, the International Hospital in Vietnamreported that 92.6 per cent of patients had good results using crinumfor BPH (confirmed by measurements of prostate size and clinicalevaluation by urologists). 1>> *Crinum may help reverse PCOS symptoms like low libido*> Clinical research on women taking crinum is much more sparse, butHSI did talk to Dr. Tom Dorman who has seen promising results afterprescribing crinum for his female patients suffering from specificdisorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).>> He recounted one case history of a woman who came to his officelooking for help with her PCOS symptoms, which included irregularperiods, decreased sex drive, weight loss, and excessive facial hairgrowth stimulated by an increase in male hormones.>> After two months of taking crinum, her menstruation and weightnormalised, her facial hair

diminished, and her sex drive returned. This account is even more remarkable when you consider that crinum wasthe only treatment she was using. Although this one case cant confirmthat crinum is responsible for the health benefits, it does suggestthat it may provide an option for women.>> *Boosts immunity by encouraging your cells to communicate*> Researchers believe crinum works at the simplest level your cells. The human body contains about 70 trillion cells, which each maintaintheir own existence and make vital contributions to your health. Butin order for your body to function properly, all of those cells mustcommunicate.>> For instance, your muscles must contract only when your brain sendsa message to contract and not at any other time. Cells alsocommunicate with one another to determine the correct balance of cellproliferation and apoptosis, or death. Basically, theyre

constantlyworking together to regulate how many cells you have and how healthythey are at any given moment.>> But if your cells arent communicating properly, apoptosis may nothappen the way it should, which means that unhealthy, even cancerous, cells can continue to thrive and mutate. Recent experiments show thatcrinum extract helps cells produce a substance called neopterin, whichthey send out to communicate with immune cells, calling them intoaction against cancer and other foreign invaders.2>> *What to take for best results*> The recommended dosage for Healthy Prostate & Ovary is three 600mgtablets taken three times a day. You are quite welcome.

I am not so sure that you need a multitude of consultants as much as

one good protocol that will lower your PSA and get rid of your

prostate cancer. Those are the only two measurements that I will

count as complete success.

> The human body contains about 70 trillion cells, which each maintain

> their own existence and make vital contributions to your health. But

> > *Not DCA, but well worth knowing about*

> > Tetrathiomolybdate, or TM, is an incredibly effective copper

> chelating material. We first learned of it when searching for a

> treatment for close family friend. Paul was diagnosed with malignant

> pleural mesothelioma (asbestos cancer) and given about 9 months to

> live. Doctors said they could do little to help him.

> > We focused on stopping vascularization of the tumor, known as

> antiangiogenesis. Green tea extract is an example. Paul started all

> these things but nothing worked and the tumor kept growing. We then

> discovered the work done by Doctor George Brewer of the University of

> Michigan. Dr. Brewer found that tetrathiomolydate, a compound that

> binds up copper easily with essentially no side effects, worked

> remarkably well in stopping vascularization of tumors.

> > Previous to starting TM, we suggested that Paul get his serum zinc

> and copper levels determined. Normally these levels are about equal.

> But many studies have shown that in aggressive tumors the ratio of

> copper to zinc is 5 to 1. And that was what Paul's ratio was! By

> taking zinc supplements and TM, he changed his copper to zinc ratio to

> 1 to 5. The tumor stopped growing, and has not grown since. Paul lives

> a normal life, taking his zinc and TM, with no side effects. He is

> living with cancer and has now for nearly three years.
