You're not missing anything.

The DMSO is the absolute best for carrying the bio-chemical properties

of the herbs into the area.

The Zinc Chloride will burn, and so will Garlic when it becomes

necessary to use it to open up the skin to get some tumors out.

The same can be said of my Total Draw Poultice Powder, which is actually

stronger than the Black Salves, especially when you add Garlic to it.

I use this approach as a last resort and try to get the body to reabsorb

the tumor first by using the Total Draw Poultice Powder without the

Garlic to begin with.

Even if a tumor does come out through the skin, the wound can be put

back together again WITHOUT A SCAR if you use my Total Healing Poultice

Powder afterwards.

What is black salve best used for? Have people had success using it for rosacea?

All I can say is be very, very careful - and to avoid products that

have very much zinc, if any. With black salve products which have

zinc, a tiny amount goes a long way. I am speaking from experience

and have the scars to prove it. The golden salve which supposedly

heals from the inside and fills in the holes - large holes too - does

not do as much as one is led to believe.

I think that some black salves will react to anything - as I tried it

out on about 15 spots of all kinds and every single one reacted. Even

areas where I brushed some on clear skin reacted. Either I am one

huge tumor or that stuff was downright dangerous!

Did you know that oleander can be condensed down to a syrupy

consistency, mixed 50/50 with vitamin e and/or aloe based cream and

used as a skin treatment for moles, warts, pre-cancerous lesions and

all kinds of skin thingies. It may take a long time of consistent

application to work (and it was my own impatience and inconsistency

that led me to try that damnable black salve!).

According to Marc Swanepoel, oleander can be used with black salve and

it works well - and I presume he means mixing them together.

I used black salve on a wierd skin thing on my shoulder, and now have a scar the size of a quarter...Please be very careful with this stuff. I do believe it has a place in our 'medicine chest'...but must be respected.

Thank you very much everyone,

Black salve is used for skin cancer. My mother had a spot removed and

radiated behind her ear. It came back to the same spot 15 years

later. Same treatment. I remember as a teen thinking that even a

small area like that with the radiation made her very sick indeed.

Cancer throughout our family. I've had a few moles removed and

inspected - all came back clear. Problem is I'm very moley and I had

loads of angiomas on my torso as well. I'd like to try bloodroot for

that.

Thanks for the heads up - I've been doing loads of research. We spend

the summers in Quebec in an area that is very close to Upstate New

York. In about a month I'm going down to the US to stock up on stuff

I can only get shipped to my apartment in Ontario expensively and

crappily by Canada Post. Fo this reason I'm looking for a good source

of black salve that I can purchase on my " holistic run " south of the

border.

Tony, which brand did you use that contained too much zinc? I really

don't care about scars. My mother's surgery was so intense she

jokingly tells people she had half a face lift. She's one of the few

grey haired women I know who have long hair - to hide the huge scar.

Kindest regards,

Janet

I don't think it had a brand name as such - it came with xeroxed

copies of instructions. Ben at Utopia Silver obtained a few

containers, but after he saw what it did to himself and me, decided to

not sell any to the public.

I think everyone who uses black salve must realize that it is

basically just a sometimes more effective form of surgery/chemo which

addresses the symptom but not the underlying cause(s) when it comes to

skin cancers.

All I can say is use extreme caution, a tiny bit goes a long way (or

makes a BIG hole as the case may be), the toxic load on the liver may

be very great, and be prepared to have the joy of having intense pain

equivalent to holding a lit cigarette to your skin for 24 hours at

each spot you apply it to - if the product is anything like what I

used. In my stupid case, imagine that pain at 15 spots simultaneously

.. . . YEOOOOW!

I think perhaps the best solution might be to find a product like the

one at this long link:

http://www.goldenneedleonline.com/index.php?page=categories & category=14 & vendor=9\

2 & product=5710 & pg=

which contains these ingredients:

chaparral, bloodroot, red clover, zi cao, black walnut, galangal,

yellowdock, pike root, olive oil, beeswax

and add some oleander " soup " condensed to a syrupy consistency.

Whichever product you use, be sure to get a good healing ointment for

afterwards - such as one that contains comfrey.

I have worked with

black salve to some extent. We actually made some up in a tincture form

and one of our successes was a lady in California that had a skin cancer on the

top of her head. She had it off and on for many years but it seemed to be

growing and she was beginning to feel worse and worse. She was an

acquaintance of ours and asked if we had anything that would help, so we sent

her some of the tincture to apply to the area. We also had her change her diet,

cleanse and rest, etc. With a true black salve 1) It should only be

applied 1x. More is not necessarily better. 2) If a reaction begins

to occur then it means there are most likely cancerous cells. If nothing

happens to the area then cancer is probably not present. Now, some black

salves will cause a reddening of the skin, if it gets on normal skin. She did

not feel good for a while because she did go through some detoxification and we

made sure that we helped her with that – especially with liver and bowel

cleansing. Later that year we did a seminar in California and she

attended. Her son had taken pictures of the before and after. We

were absolutely amazed! It had healed wonderfully and hair was even

growing back. She looked great and felt good. This was about a

3-inch in diameter cancer.

This tincture that I am talking about was made in 2002 (just to give you an

“age” of the tincture). Last year (2007) I had a place on my

chin that just would not heal. I did everything I could think of and

nothing seemed to help. So I was going through my “medicine

closet” and saw the black salve. I put one-drop on the area and I

could feel it work immediately. It was not terribly uncomfortable and

within two days the area began to heal and has not come back. And, best of all,

no scar.

Zinc needs to be in the black salve. The secret is to refrain from

applying the salve more than once. Also using a good quality vitamin E

during the healing process is recommended.

Some black salves are not true black salves. Companies try to come up

with their “own” product so that it is “theirs” to

market and different from all other products. However, because of this

the term black salve has many different connotations. Some are more harmful

and some may seem to work and some not al all. Really, no new ingredients

need to be added as it will work effectively with the main ingredients that I

listed yesterday. The true black salve ingredients, when properly

combined, make the product nothing short of remarkable – allowing people

to heal from skin cancers that conventional medicine can literally make a mess

of. Also, black salve does get to the root of skin cancers. Many

have also taken black salve internally and had good results. Again,

professional and knowledgeable help needs to be sought out. Kathryn has much

more experience in this area that I do. As the body is healing from any cancer,

you will need to support it with cleansing/detoxification and a very healthy

diet. I have seen people heal their skin cancers using black salve with

only minimal lifestyle changes; however, it is lifestyle that attributes to the

development of cancer and continuing to do the same thing that helped to get

you sick in the first place but (for whatever reason) expecting different

results is the definition of insanity.

Proceed with caution

and I would HIGHLY recommend being under the watchful eye of a KNOWLEDGEABLE

healthcare professional. Many people are left with huge scars because

they “did their own thing” and/or did not have correct

information. Black Salve has its place in natural medicine and it is

definitely a product that needs to be used with caution.

Be Well

Loretta

Dear Loretta

Thank you very much for your thorough answer. I hear you loud and

clear about the underlying causes and the importance of a holistic

lifestyle. Our family spent almost 2 years in Central America and one

of the biggest culture shocks when we returned was how old and

decrepit everybody looked. Then I started running into people, like a

former colleague of my husband who I barely recognized. She said it

was because her hair came in frizzy from the chemo. Seems she had

been battleing cancer the entire time we were away. Just before we

left, a mother in our play group was hit with ovarian cancer. Both

these women were young (early 40;s) with young children. A woman in

her 60's in our food co-op - breast cancer. A woman from our church -

breast cancer - and so on.

I kinda freaked out a bit! I have always lived a healthy life but I

vowed to quadruple my efforts. We're on the road to raw food diet and

I became very knowledgeable about thermography for breast scans.

Bought a juicer and eliminated gluten. Sometimes I feel like well,

nothing can get me now but when I hear how far folks go to eliminate

cancer once it hits I think I have so far to go...

I'm very proactive. The black salve is on my list of things to

research because it is so convenient to get it from the US when I'm

down there. Your information is crucial to my bag of tools and I

sincerely appreciate it.

Kindest regards,

Janet
