Guest guest
Yikes then I am in trouble because we consume quite a bit of seafood weekly. It's the only protein I indulge in mostly for hub because he thinks its really healthy for us. If it weren't for hub I would probably eat seafood once a week instead. Tammatha stated that there is so much mercury in seafood even fresh caught. However I think the Asians overkill the ocean more than any others on the planet. Guest guest
Bonnie and Cody, I have read (can't remember where) that mercury in seafood should not be a worry because it contains selenium which offsets it. Nope, Asians do not overkill the oceans. You will recall that during the Clinton adm. they closed US bases in Germany. The bombs the US disposed were brought to the Pacific Ocean , close to Marianas Islands. Now Mariana's has high rate of cancer. In the Philippines, when Mt. Pinatubo was at the height of eruption, the US Base personnel in Clark all disappeared suddenly without a peep because they violated the agreement with Phil. Gov't that no nukes are to be stored there. Apparently they had it buried in the sea around the base. And when the heat of the lava was coming down fast and BIG, they ran away without telling the gov't. It was found out because the Brits published it and the African newspapers too and were all worried that if those buried bombs exploded, hell will break loose. Atlantic Ocean is not safe either. It has many bombs around there on stand-by to be used any moment even in European side. So wherever you fish, chances are you have ... nuclear materials in your catch.
