Guest guest
Was checking Cody's lymph nodes this mng. and found some small lymph nodes coming out near his neck again. I knew something had to be up because he just wasn't eating much of anything this past week and harder than heck to get him to eat anything. He's lost about a pound or so too. Guess I won't be canceling his CCNU tomorrow after all. Please say a prayer for him that all will go well tomorrow. I was hoping that the IP6 and CS was sending it into remission but it has become so aggressive lately. Hoping the oleander we get soon will be able to help him but since he's getting chemo tomorrow does anyone know if oleander can be taken with chemo? Guest guest
Yes Bonnie. Tony says oleander helps mitigate any side effects of the chemo. I will be praying for Cody and you. Guest guest
Oleander in humans either lessens or eliminates all known side effects of chemo (with the sole known exception being that it does not eliminate hair loss when the chemo drug of choice is Cisplatin). I am sorry that Cody is having problems - hopefully this will be the last chemo he will need. Oleander and inositol have worked well in animals, especially inositol. It may be that it takes awhile for the oleander to help rebuild Cody's immune system from the damage of past chemo treatments. For sure it should help protect him from much further damage this time around if you wait to get him started on the oleander before any more chemo. How long has Cody been taking the inositol? I am just thinking that from what you have said it has perhaps had some effect and it may just take awhile longer. Guest guest
Bonnie, my prayers are with Cody and you. Was this remission period a bit longer than the others? I will be thinking of both of you tomorrow. Guest guest
Bonnie, If I were you I'd also give your dog MMS... 3 drops twice a day. Not the sodium chlorite mind you, but the activated MMS meaning chlorine dioxide. Good luck.
