Guest guest
Bonnie, You sound like a wonderful doggie parent and I applaud you for all you are doing for Cody, he is so lucky to have you and I'm sure you feel blessed too, no doubt. Bonnie there are other fantastic grain-free canned dog foods that you might want to try if Cody doesn't care for the Evo. If he won't do the raw (which is the pinnacle diet) try Nature's Variety, Evanger's, and Merrick just came out with a great one called "BG" (before grain) give them a whirl. Sometimes, I know with my dogs they just get tired of the same ole, same ole. It is misinformation that dogs need to stay on the same food day in day out. They need variety just like we do. I'm so pleased to hear he is doing better, hope you get the S/OPC caps soon. I believe it will help also. Tammantha, I have always tried to help Cody with his diet/immune system when he started chemo. Thankfully when I joined ccc there was plenty of help there for me. In fact I started Cody on transfer factor plus but have since stopped, I take it daily now and really works as far as not catching viruses, pneumonia, colds etc. which I used to catch all the time. I also started Cody on Evo by Innova but he doesn't care for it as much as i'd like. I truly think the CS, IP6 is helping him. His eating could be better though.
