Guest guest
Roger, I'm experiencing more energy physically, not overactive brain, but similar I guess in that it is stimulating. Like I said to Bonnie my dog Weaver's arthritis is better as well, which is thrilling because I have tried countless products to help him. Tammatha - Roger Dilworth oleander soup Wednesday, July 09, 2008 3:43 PM Iodine-like effects On second day of taking OPC. Not diagnosed with cancer, but taking it as part of a cancer preventative regimen. I notice a brain-fog clearing effect when taking the OPC that is similar to what I get using iodine. On both days, I took the OPC later in the day than taking the iodine so there may be some cumulative effect. I'm not complaining, just wondering if anyone else has notice this brain-fog clearing, stimulant effect almost to the point of "overactive" brain activity. Guest guest
Tammatha, That's great to hear! I think I spoke too soon as the overactive brain wasn't as bad the second time I tried it. I actually alert, mellow and pleasant. Very happy with the product so far. Haven't been this enthused since, well, iodine. Guest guest
Try a bit of colloidal silver AND colloidal gold. They both help with arthritis and colloidal gold is great for mood and mental sharpness. Inositol/IP6 is also good for both as well. As noted earlier, do not take colloidal silver (or gold) at the same time as Inositol/IP6. Oleander could be expected to have some stimulative effect - after all, the cardiac gylcosides in it cross assay with digoxin/digitalis (but he average does of oleander is perhaps 1/40th the amount of a dose of digoxin/digitalis). oleander soup , " Tammatha " <tammatha wrote: > > Roger, > I'm experiencing more energy physically, not overactive brain, but similar I guess in that it is stimulating. Guest guest
Hi Roger, Just wondering which iodine you use and how did you decide how much to take? Thanks, Nonie That's great to hear! Guest guest
Everyone knows the importance of iodine in relation to proper functioning of the thyroid gland. However, iodine is essential in every other body tissue. It is part of the signalling mechanism in the body to alert the immune system to the presence of a cancer. W/o iodine, the body becomes aware of the cancer much later, when the problem is already much worse. The more of the body's energy that is not diverted into sustaining the cancer, the more energy the body has for everything else. Also, remember that oleander soup has compounds that stimulate the heart to pump harder and more efficiently. No one has made much effort to study the stimulant effect on other muscles or other body tissues; the interest goes to whatever is seen as most promising therapeutically.I am not surprised at all that with a more active thyroid and heart that a person would feel like he has a new surplus of energy.Dr. Goebel--- On Wed, 7/9/08, Roger Dilworth <rogerdil wrote:Roger Dilworth <rogerdil Iodine-like effectsoleander soup Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 5:43 PM On second day of taking OPC. Guest guest
Thanks, Tony. Do cardiac gylcosides have any relation to the glyconutrients discussed on this forum a few days ago?--- On Thu, 7/10/08, Tony wrote: Tony Re: Iodine-like effectsoleander soup Date: Thursday, July 10, 2008, 12:59 AM Try a bit of colloidal silver AND colloidal gold. Guest guest
Hi Nonie, I take the Iosol brand. It's the only iodine I've ever taken, so can't compare with other types/brands, but I'm definitely satisfied with it. I usually take two drops, 2x a day. Each drop has 1,830 mcg (or 1.8 mg) of iodine. On rare occasions I take 3x, but sometimes I get a little jittery at this dose. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Dr. Goebel. I didn't know about iodine's signaling mechanism role. As for the OPC, I didn't measure it out, but it was certainly less than a teaspoon, probably a 1/4 a teaspoon each time. Goes to show how powerful both iodine and OPC are.--- On Thu, 7/10/08, Michael Goebel <goebelchx wrote: Michael Goebel <goebelchxRe: Iodine-like effectsoleander soup Date: Thursday, July 10, 2008, 1:38 PM Everyone knows the importance of iodine in relation to proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Guest guest
Hi Roger, Thanks for the info! I have used the Cayce brand and didn't seem to find results. My nature path put me on Idorol and I had breakouts on my stomach, even with a half tablet and salt water. I will give this a try. Nonie Hi Nonie, I take the Iosol brand.
