Guest guest
Mike, I give my furkid Cody IP6 daily along with colloidal silver. Are you saying they should not be given together or can they both be given daily but at different times? Thank you, Bonnie & CodyGas prices getting you down? Guest guest
They should not be in the gut at the same time. They are perfectly good separated by an hour. IP6 shows up in the cells themselves within one hour.Mike"evian793" <evian793oleander soup Sent: Wednesday, July 2, 2008 7:05:27 AMRe: IP6 questions/Mike Mike, I give my furkid Cody IP6 daily along with colloidal silver. Guest guest
Thank you Mike! I will now give Cody his colloidal silver separately instead of his drinking water. Should someone who does not have cancer benefit from taking IP-6 Inositol also? thanks, Bonnie & CodyGas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars. Guest guest
Well, it does have some immune stimulating effect....but, other than that it wouldn't be something I would use, except in a cancer battle.Mike"evian793" <evian793oleander soup Sent: Thursday, July 3, 2008 6:52:16 AMRe: IP6 questions/Mike Thank you Mike! Guest guest
My 2 cents: IP6 is a chelator. It chelates excessive iron, zinc, magnesium, and calcium out of the system. (I'm not sure about other metals such as lead, mercury, etc.) It can interfere with normal apsorption of minerals if eaten with food. It may have its anti-cancer effect by stripping iron from cancer cells, because they have higher iron loads than normal cells. The dose for preventative purposes is about 4x to 5x less than the dose for curative purposes. So it might be okay to take preventative doses, especially if your family has a history of colon cancer, which IP6 seems effective against. -- In oleander soup , Roger Dilworth <rogerdil wrote: > > Mike, > ? > Really?? Guest guest
There are so many supplements one could take for general health that IP6 just doesn't have a high priority..You can't take everything. I do take a little oleander every couple of days, though.MikeRoger Dilworth <rogerdiloleander soup Sent: Thursday, July 3, 2008 11:41:58 AMRe: IP6 questions/Mike Mike, Really? Why not? Guest guest
In addition to being a chelator (or because of being a chelator) Inositol/IP6 interferes with absorption of minerals, especially calcium, magnesium and zinc, and may strip them from the bones when taken in large amounts over an extended period of time. That is why the Cell Forte products contain extra minerals and why it is important to supplement when taking Inostitol/IP6. (Ok I fess up, this is really Tony and I forgot to log out. I also fess up that I am in a hurry to get to the Lake! Catch ya later folks!) oleander soup , " jrrjim " <jim.mcelroy10 wrote: > > My 2 cents: > > IP6 is a chelator. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for their input. I think I'll take one capsule of IP6 a couple of times a week, making sure I have ample minerals a couple of hours after taking a dose of IP6.
