To the best of my knowledge:

The previous makers of Aniverzel, Phoenix Biotech in San Antonio, are

making a new pill form of oleander medicine and THAT is what is in

current trials at MD Anderson. It is not Anvirzel, but rather uses a

different extraction method (liquid carbon dioxide and micro-fine

particles of oleander) to extract a greater amount of oleandrin and

still retain all the other valuable supporting compounds. As far as I

know, it has no operative name at this point in time.

Not long ago,Phoenix spun off another company, Nerium Biotechnology,

which is now based in Canada and which now has control of the

manufacture of Anvirzel. I believe that Anvirzel is in the process of

moving to the next phases of FDA trials. The original maker of

Anvirzel, Ozelle Pharmaceuticals, stopped FDA trials after phase I due

to running out of funds and inter-company conflicts.

The capsule form of the herbal supplement, Sutherlandia OPC, has been

mistakenly referred to several times here as a pill. It is not a

pill, but rather a capsule.

How's your dad? Has he headed to Cozumel yet?

Sutherlandia Frutescensand Nerium Oleander. Nerium Oleander is the

very basis used for Anvirzel and Sutherlandia Frutescens is commonly

referred to as the " cancer bush. " Both plants are known for their

strong medicinal qualities.
