Seems they feel the soul needs that much time to change over. I have a call into the hospital administration today but had to leave a message of course. I don't expect much but I do want to let them know how my family feels about what happened to my dad even if it only gives me a little satisfaction telling them so! Hope all is well with you today. Guest guest Posted June 30, 2008 Report Share Posted June 30, 2008 Bonnie, if it was a blatant negligence on their part, it might be worth turning the doctor in to the AMA. A doctor grossly ignored my friend's mother, because she was dying anyway, but his not even tending to her made her last few days really bad. She had a parasite and had diarrhea because of it--making her basically waste away before the disease would have killed her. My friend had tried to get the doctor to go and see her because she knew the diarrhea wasn't normal to the disease, but he just wouldn't take the time. So she turned him in to the AMA, or whatever the medical board that over sees doctors are. They found him guilty, made him pay $1000 (pocket change to a doctor) and do x number of hours of public service. But the main thing was that it is now on his record, and anyone that checks into his background before going to him can see what this guy does to his patients. It may save someone else's life. Have you got Cody's order straightened out yet? If not, let me know and I'll do it for you. Samala, Renee--oh, thanks for the info on the 72 hour wait. We are going to bury my dad today and it will be very hard to get through all of this. I had to change my bank account with paypal but I am ready to go and wrote to Tony today to find out if he can order them now for us, the sooner the better I hope esp. for Cody's sake as he's not been doing very well with this last treatment.
