Hi Robyn,

One of the most important things I believe I've done is a major diet change and have gone raw vegan. It is a transforming experience in more ways than one physically & mentally. Owning a Vita-Mix is so important for doing the green smoothies and the raw diet. As I mentioned before the colon hydrotherapy which has included (ozonated, organic coffee, apple cider vinegar) to up the detoxification and alkalization. CH helps helps with candida, parasites, bacteria, fungus and improves digestion & helps the organs work better(such as the liver which is so important for detoxing). Removing amalgam filling from my teeth (2 more to go). Countless herbal supplements that detox and many other supplements (I rotate). Removing all chemical cleaning products from my home, and all cosmetics & bath/grooming products that are toxic (you wouldn't believe how much of it there is). Bought an Aranizer Air Purifer for my home (amazing product) much different than your typical air cleaner. Take daily detox baths with epsom salt, raw organic apple cider vinegar, & various essential oils in the water, dry brushing, also I use Hulda Clarks Zapper. Exercise that makes me sweat to draw out toxins as well, infrared sauna, yoga, lympathic massage, accupuncture. Progesterone cream and DIM to balance out the estrogen dominance (due to the fact that I had estrogen driven breast cancer). EFT (emotional freedom techniques) is the next thing I'm going to do since much of our toxic state is & can be emotional, which causes many diseases. The only thing that I did that made me memorably sick & I mean really, really, sick detoxing is when I first started with my detox journey I took chlorella, it made me throw up for hours on end, I obviously had alot of stuff that needed to purge out (one most likely culprit the mercury fillings). It is something that has to continue on with life, we can never believe we are completely lily clean. Our environments are so polluted along with just about everything on the planet, so you do your absolute best you make it a lifestyle. It takes alot of discipline and at times you can feel like you plateau and changing course can help. Also, at times you experience die-off and that can bring you down a bit, but it is part of the process. When you have a health crisis you have to commit whole-heartedly. You are your own physician. Hope that helps!

What did you use to detox and did it make you sick?

Thanks, Robyn--- On Fri, 6/27/08, Tammatha <tammatha (AT) sonic (DOT) net> wrote:

No issue here Loretta, but we need to keep an open mind to all things here. I too know first hand as well since I was diagnosed with cancer as well 2 years ago. I elected to do no chemo or radiation or tamoxifen, and whatever other poison the white coats wanted to give me. I'm strictly doing my own treatment, a cure thyself. My husband & I pay a fortune in (conventional) health care every month and I don't even use it. I can honestly say that detoxing using colon hydrotherapy among other things I'm doing has helped me in many ways and believe in can help others as well, we should share what has worked for us and shed some light on that of which is not mainstream.

I agree about the OPC capsules. I'm taking it too along with my doggie Weaver, so far nothing to report, are no changes/symptoms good news? I too am chicken to try and make the soup.

Different pages are not a bad thing, Tammatha. It’s what makes life interesting. The most important thing that I have found as far as natural medicine goes is to research, educate and ask questions, so that good decisions can be made when the time comes. I would guess that is why most people are on this forum. It’s why I’m here. I am anxiously waiting for the good testimonies to start coming in from those using oleander for cancer. I have been taking the capsules and cannot really report anything, but then I don’t have cancer. I tried the liquid, but got some of the bad stuff that wasn’t filtered properly and it made me feel really bad. So I was a little hesitant to try the capsules but because I don’t ever recommend anything that I haven’t tried myself, I decided to give it a go and I am almost finished with my first bottle with no side-effects except for some loose stools every once-in-a-while. We have three HUGE oleadner bushes in our backyard, but I am “chicken” to try to make the soup myself. I realize that I am very “passionate” about certain subjects and I guess it’s because I know, first hand, what it’s like to lose your health, go through the antics of conventional medicine and finally get the courage to step out-of-the-box toward natural medicine, wondering if l “really” could get well. I know what it took for me to heal from stage III cancer. Doesn’t necessarily make me an expert, just someone who has walked the path and knows without a doubt that if I can do it, so can others. So I tend to get “preachy” about preventative measures.

If I have offended you in any way, please accept my apology. I really appreciate what you bring to the table. J

Be WellLoretta

Loretta we are definately on different pages. Like I said I'm not here to convince anybody about how to care for themselves. This is obviously an opinionated subject for most. My thoughts end here with it.
