Well it was a lovely day today. Took the girls on a homeschool field

trip to a farm in our old hometown (remember - where Rene Caisse used

to have her clinic). The couple there cultivate calendula and sheep

sorrel and slippery elm and vegetables and make creams and soaps in

their basement operation. Very interesting indeed!

As we were walking through her fields admiring the wildflowers, she

told me that they grow 2 of the 4 herbs found in the essiac formula.

The other 2 herbs she buys - but she's thinking of growing them

herself. Why? Because she found the 4 herb packages of essiac sold

locally do not contain the correct herbs. I have heard this same

story 1000 times before. Anyway she brews the essiac in the old

fashioned manner a la rene caisse and takes it everyday as a health

elixir. On our way out she gave me a jar for free!

As I have found in this group and also today, is it not wonderful to

meet people both near and far who care about our health and who are

conscientious and smart?
