Guest guest
Blalock has some good stuff, but it really turns me off the way he charges for his reports and shills for them. I could say the same about Ralph Moss. And Mercola - he seems to be down on just about everything unless he sells it. And boy does that guy ever sell. Sorry - but if he is the picture of good health, pass me a big bowl of grain! In fairness, I get good information from all of those sources - but the overboard marketing is a turn off. As for flaxseeds and flaxseed oil - I have seen nothing to convince me that it is not excellent if you get a good organic sources for the oil (such as Barleans), and of course, flaxseeds must be consumed soon after grinding. Guest guest
I'm so glad to hear you say something positive about Flax Tony. I grind and eat the flaxseed in my smoothie within minutes. Do you know if there is any difference between the Golden Flaxseed and the Amber color? All I know is the Golden is more expensive. I know that doesn't make it better though. I get Mercola's e newsletters also with all his talkie blurb videos, I too always think he looks quite unhealthy, often wondered about that. Guest guest
LOL! I'm turned off by his selling mentality, but that applies to him recommending the product he sells versus other products of the same type. However, he has more credibility when he's talking about the merits of a particular supplement, regardless of brand. After all, he could always shill "his" brand of flax oil if he believed it was beneficial. Also, plenty of people on groups recommending products and they ain't exactly the picture of health either, so you can't go by that logic. Guest guest
Glad you are back! Gotta say that the customer service from Mercola is 2nd to none. I take advantage of the international free shipping when it's offered, otherwise freight charges would more than double some prices. One vaccine-injured son had a seizure and broke a product when it flew out of his hands. When I made an enquiry about buying a new one, 2 were sent free of charge & no shipping cost to New Zealand! When I have ordered anything, they always send extra stuff! But you're right - he looks a bit cadaverous, which is not a good ad. Mind you. Guest guest
You do have a point - not everyone is nearly as pretty as I am. LOL. Someone said Mercola may be a runner - perhaps that explains the Nosferatu look. Seriously, Mercola may not have a brand of flax oil, but he promotes his Krill oil to the high heavens. As noted, I like the good Doc (who is a Doctor of Osteopathy, btw), but he reminds me too much of Ask Lazlo with all the selling he does. Not to pick on the guy, who I have used for a lot of material, but I am also less than thrilled with his grain free diet. Whole grains, especially sprouted and fermented ones are healthy for the big majority of people. Only the less than 10% of people who have an intolerance to gluten would be wise to use his diet, imho. For the record, I do not use flaxseed oil myself (but then I do not have cancer). I do use a bit of ground flaxseed now and then. Mostly though, I use coconut oil and olive oil. oleander soup , Roger Dilworth <rogerdil wrote: > > LOL! Guest guest
Evidently not since I just posted a blank message! Ooops! I think that I bow to the much more knowledgeable and esteemed Ms. Budwig.
