Guest guest
PLEASE, please look at what you send. i get this list in Digest form, and the initial LOOOONG message is repeated. Monsanto was interesting the first six times, but by the seventh I was disgusted. Maria, I enjoyed your Greek joke. so similar to my Jewish background, but the fifth time the long message was repeated, I had enough. And if you are sending forwards, PLEASE look at the headers. I don't want my email address going everywhere, nor does anyone else. Viruses, spam, etc. Please, a couple of seconds of nternet politeness will be greatly appreciated. It is irritating to need to scroll down, down, down over and over and over. I don't have a quick scroll button. Rhoda
Guest guest
Suggestion for those who forward erase Rhonda's name(or all their names and addresses or whoever sent it to you) before you forward and use the bcc. Blind copy leaves all e-mails out of the top of the forward. When you do this it is easier to print without a whole list of names and addresses and also phishers, those who fish for e-mails to spam people, cannot grab your e-mail or the other persons. It's the best way to protect yourselves and others. - Rhoda Mead oleander soup Wednesday, June 18, 2008 1:44 AM Re: Internet Etiquette PLEASE, please look at what you send. i get this list in Digest form, and the initial LOOOONG message is repeated. Guest guest
Hello Mary, Just highlight all the previous nessage except the one you are replying to. Hold your right hand button down and move thre mouse so that all that you want to delete is highlighted. Then hit the delete button. If you are forwarding mail. you highlight all the peoples' addresses headers footers etc, then delete before forwarding them on. I hope this makes sense. See below - all the previous messages have been deleted. except yours, which is the one to which I wanted to reply. All the best, Maracuja Join the Blue Ribbon Online Free Speech Campaign! Guest guest
Go to "forward" then on the right side is an arrow, click on arrow then choose " as in line text". Then then whole message would come out and you can erase all senders and recipients. Melly
