I think a filter is blocking this email, so let's try it without the link.....Mathias Rath and others are taking legal heat in South Africa for treating HIV with natural substances. The story is at guardian.co.ukMike.

I agree with Rath:

" Rath, who was not in court to hear the ruling, claimed the lawsuit

was an example of " pharmaceutical colonialism " which had " genocidal

consequences for the people in the developing world " .

If it works, is non-patentable, is safe, inexpensive and a threat the

to the billions in profits of the hugely powerful trillion dollar

world pharma industry you can bet it will be suppressed.

BTW - your emails came through just fine. All members messages are

moderated for the first 60 days or so, without exception, to make sure

no one is here to attack, be disruptive or spam the group with

commercial messages.

To understand a bit about why this was necessary, see:

" My Story- (or How I ended up writing a book and running from crooks) "

/mystory.htm

Thanks for the info - I will do some checking around to see what, if

any, implications it might have. Someone in government has clearly

been bought off.

It is my understanding that OPC has been embraced by the government in

South Africa - but as you can see from the story, that could change as

quickly as money changes hands in the right places.
