Guest guest
Renee, Thank you so much for your opinion on both. I have not ordered the oleander yet just waiting to hear back from Mark on my questions. I do have the MMS in the kitchen waiting to go, btw do you refrigerate after opening? I will have to put my thinking cap on and figure out what amount to make for Cody daily. Just hoping there are no side effects for him as he's been through a lot. In the meantime I am still doing the baking soda/maple syrup mixture also. I am very excited about the CS as I might try this also just like the transfer factor plus i've been taking daily for well over nine months now. Bought that originally for Cody but turned out better for myself. Many thanks Renee! Bonnie & Codyboy Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife. City's Best 2008. Guest guest
Renee, My problem with MMS is how much to give Cody because he only weighs 21 lbs. I am also wondering if I give him this, CS and possibly oleander if I can get it ordered would be too much for him? Also I need to find out what side effects will come with MMS as well as the other things. swears by CS and I also need to find out the amount to give Cody on this one too. I am wondering what the cons are of MMS and will do a little more research. Thing is i'm pressed for time as my dad is in the hospital and not doing too well. Many hugs and thanks for your help, Bonnie & CodyVote for your city's best dining and nightlife. City's Best 2008.
Guest guest
Renee, I need to find time to watch the video first to see just how to mix the mixture and just how to do this. I just can't over do this for Cody as he's been through so much, I have to have the perfect (if that's possible) solution for him when using this. So many different opinions on what to use for Cody and some are adament about the ms/bs mixture also about not using it. It just sounded right to me for some reason, this is why I have been continuing to use it for him. Many thanks for your help, Bonnie & CodyVote for your city's best dining and nightlife. Guest guest
Hi Bonnie. No, you don't refrigerate the MMS. But do keep it in the dark. It will be useless after one hour in direct sunlight, though a few hours of common room light won't hurt it. But it is best kept in the dark, like a cabinet. Yes, you will need to start slowly for Cody--especially if he already has diarrhea. You wouldn't be able to tell if it was from the health problem or from the MMS. Most animals seem to tolerate the MMS easily--just a very few animals (maybe 3 that I remember?) had the diarrhea and one with vomiting. All the others have done great on it. There was one lady that ran a rescue site started using it for all the animals there, and it made a huge difference in their health--even down to young kittens. But she did switch later to what the vets use, which is a milder form, as she felt there wasn't a need of the strong MMS unless the animal was really very ill. If you start Cody on it, just give him half a dose and see how he does. It is 3 drops of MMS per 25 pounds of dog. I believe you mentioned that Cody is 21 pounds? Then he'd only get the 3 drops as a full dose, which means he'd get one and a half drops to start with. To do this you'd simply mix up a 3 drop dose and only give him half of that. I know the CS will help Cody. I have read about the BS/honey routine but don't know anyone that has actually tried it. Good luck. Guest guest
MMS doesn't interfere with any medications. The dose for Cody would be 3 drops MMS, 15 drops of some sort of acid like lemon juice, lime juice, apple cider vinegar or citric acid at a 10% solution. You'd be better off just using vinegar or the lemon juice rather than mess with finding the citric acid powder and making up a 10% solution. As I stated earlier, I'd start Cody out on half a dose--which would mean you'd mix up the 3 drops MMS, 15 drops acid and WAIT 3 MINUTES and after that just give him HALF the dose. MMS will still do its job of killing pathogens but will be easier for Cody to deal with. Remember, he's not reacting to the MMS itself, but to the too much toxins in his body from die off. The body reacts with vomiting and/or diarrhea because there are too many toxins from what the MMS has killed that the body is trying to get rid of them in any way it can. It is NOT from the MMS itself. That's why taking a smaller dose is as good as a large dose--you just take the smaller dose for longer is all. Then it's easy on the body. And as I said, animals do seem much more able to handle MMS at high doses than humans. But because Cody already has diarrhea I'd start at half dose. It would be hard to tell if the diarrhea was still from before, or from the die-off. Are you putting electrolites in Cody's water or food to help replace what the diarrhea is taking out? EmergenC is good for that, but I don't know how Cody would react to the flavorings in it, if you put it in his drinking water. Perhaps someone on the list knows what else to use for electrolites for a dog. No, the MMS won't interfere with the CS or oleander or anything else you may give him, including the honey and BS. I would simply suggest giving everything else during the daytime, and then stopping everything about 2 hours before going to bed, and giving Cody the MMS just before you go to bed. I am praying for your Dad, Cody and you. God/dess bless you all. Samala, Renee ---- My problem with MMS is how much to give Cody because he only weighs 21 lbs. Guest guest
Mixing it is easy and you don't need the DVD to do it. Your MMS should have come with a dropper top on the bottle. Take a small glass or bowl and drop in THREE drops of MMS. Then take an eye dropper and add 20 drops of vinegar (white or apple cider) OR lemon juice OR lime juice. Can be either fresh or from a bottle. WAIT THREE MINUTES. This wait period is necessary to fully activate the MMS. Once you have mixed the MMS and acid, and waited the 3 minutes, the MMS is ready to take. This would be a full dose for Cody at his weight. I suggest starting him on half a dose--so just remove about 11 drops of it and that would be Cody's dose for starting to see how he does with it. If he does ok, I'd say do a half dose for another 2 days and then go up to full dose and see how he does. If that's ok then you can stay at full dose until the oleander comes, or in case you want to continue giving MMS and oleander both. Normally we say it is 5 drops acid to 1 drop MMS, so that would have been 15 drops of acid instead of the 20 I just told you. But most eye droppers are smaller than the bottle top dropper that comes with the MMS, so you want to be sure to have enough acid to fully activate the MMS--hence 20 or even 25 drops of acid from an eyedropper. Don't give Cody a full dose. Mix up the full dose and just give him half. Try to put it into some treat that he likes rather than just squirt it down his throat. My friend's dog Lucy took it just squirted in, but she somehow knew it was helping her, so she didn't mind. I couldn't get my dogs or cats to touch it straight like that. But mixed into a small treat, like cottage cheese, or tuna, or canned dog or cat food, they took it just fine. I mixed it into just a small amount to make sure that they ate all the food, thereby getting all the MMS and not leaving part of it. I have explained about when to give it to him in the last post.
