Hello Tammantha,

I do love furkids too, my very fav are dogs too!

We were only given three months for Cody to live with his stage four lymphoma and he is now well over a year! I hate to say this but we gave him many many supplements of all kinds and immune boosters but the only thing that sends his nodes back is chemo. He was in remission for three months once and that was only after five treatments. We put him on almost every supplement possible and nothing helped as it came back like wildfire.

He goes for CCNU today a rescue chemo but in the meantime I am trying to find something that will give him a cure as lymphoma is just not curable. He's an amazing little furkid that Cody. I am going to ask his vet if we can postpone the ccnu rescue chemo today as he's not showing signs of nodes yet. He's also on a lower dose of prednisone now too.

I have started the baking soda/maple syrup mixture for Cody this week. I wish I knew of someone on here who has had success with it?

Hugs to you and I thank you personally for helping rescue furkids!

Hi Bonnie,

Sorry to hear Cody is going thru it. However, I don't know this baking soda/maple syrup thing, but, sugar feeds cancer. Maybe, I am talking out of my idiot mouth, but, it doesn't make sense to me.

Good luck.

Hi Bonnie,

Your Cody obviously has an amazing constitution. I hate to say it but the poison will catch up to him. I do believe even though you think the immune boosters did not help him, I think they did, and has helped him to keep on trucking. Lymphs as we know hold the toxins and more toxins is more overload. It sounds like he is so loved and you are doing all you can, I applaud you immensely. Do all you can to support his liver since I'm sure it is taxed out with trying to filter all the junk (pharmaceuticals, steroids). Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Artichoke, SAME. It really helped my furry girl with her liver cancer.

Hello Tammatha (no N :)

I talked Cody's vet yesterday not to give him chemo. He also stopped daily does of pred, now on 10 mgs. a day every other. Seems his breathing was not that good last nite as it was the first day w/out pred in a while. I am keeping a very close eye on the little guy and feeling for nodes daily. His vet wants to do this next Friday instead.

I plan to start the CS as soon as it comes and might just skip the MMS that came yesterday. I am also trying to order the oleander for Cody.

Thanks for you help with Cody and I hope you are wrong about the toxins! Maybe the CS will remove some of them, hoping so.

Hugs
