,

Have to sign off soon as we need to get Cody to vets soon. I am sure Tony is right on his belief of the baking soda/maple syrup mixture but I am still going to try this for Cody as he is not having any bad reaction from it so far.

I have written to Dr. Simoncini but have not heard back from him so I am going by the recipe I received from an article on this. I would prefer the injections but know of no one doing this in my area.

Thank you for posting that for me!

Many hugs to you today,

Bonnie & Cody

PS: This is a little about Cody that I posted on my comfort site....

Cody goes for CCNU chemo today bless his little heart that little trooper of mine. Who would have thought Cody would have come this far when he was diagnosed with cancer well over a year now in April of last year but signs of it in March. He was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma and only given three months!

All I ask of all of you is that you say a prayer that this chemo given today will give us more time with this precious little fellow. I do not believe he needs this chemo yet as he's not choking yet so thinking the elspar did its job last time.

I have also started the baking soda/maple syrup mixture for Cody as I read some very good things about this, I posted the info a couple weeks ago.

Many thanks to all of you and your prayers, I am a firm believer they do help!Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife. City's Best 2008.

Bless your heart Bonnie. Have you considered stopping the chemo

treatments for Cody altogether? Chemo does nothing but kill all cells,

the good together with the bad, destroy organs, and seriously compromise

the immune system. I am not familiar with the term " rescue chemo "

though.

I am sure that Marc will respond to you shortly with regard to OPC, and

I stand by colloidal silver 100%. And I want to emphasize right now, I

am only referring to colloidal silver, not any form of ionic silver made

with batteries or any other homemade way. I will respond specifically

to that subject very shortly.

Lastly, below is a copy to the post that Tony made with regard to baking

soda/maple syrup for cancer. Bonnie, I wish you the very best.

Here is Tony's post:

" The problem I have with maple syrup (or honey) and baking soda taken

internally is this. Unless you are dealing with a stomach cancer, the

baking soda and syrup/honey cocktail must first be processed by the

stomach and then carried to the cancer via the blood. The stomach

acids and digestive process breaks food down to the molecular level in

order for it to get into the bloodstream. So, if the syrup or honey

and the baking soda are broken down into molecules, how can there be

any kind of cocktail delivered to the cancer that fools the cancer

into gobbling up the syrup and getting baking soda in the process?

Tulio Simoncini is noted for administering bicarbonate of soda

intravenously - and, though he has had some notable success, the

results that have been reported have been widely exaggerated.

Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think baking soda and

added oxygen are fine and I think topical applications of baking soda

and DMSO may be good too, but the whole Trojan Horse idea of maple

syrup dragging baking soda into cancer cells is hogwash - and I see no

sense in feeding your cancer with the extra sugar. "

Hi Bonnie,

I'm taking the OPC and I just started my pooch "Weaver" on the OPC for arthritis and Cushing's. Marc emailed me that it would take a few months to see results. Looking forward to it, we will see.

Thank you for that info , just received an email that mine has shipped. Cody has to have chemo today for his lymphoma CCNU rescue chemo but he shows no signs of struggling with breathing so far and I plan to ask his vet if we can wait on this one as it can be rough on furkids. His last treatment was elspar.

I am also continuing on with baking soda/maple syrup mixture for Cody - day five today. Does anyone on here have any info at all with this. I read an article that it helped some with cancer.

I still have not heard back from Mark about the oleander for Cody so hopefully he will get back to me. Has anyone here used oleander on their pets yet?

Thank you so much any help would be welcome,
