Guest guest
Tony, thanks for your clarification about making OS. I sure hope you aren't bored with praise! Everyone's careful and complete answers to questions, to the best of their knowledge, is wonderful. Plus the humor and support! Love you all! I hadn't thought about the distinction between being allergic to oleander and whether the batch is contaminated. The way to test is now tattooed on my leg, and added to my printed directions. So you think I'm being overly cautious! After reading that using an oleander stick to roast a hot-dog has been fatal!.Hah! If you don't hear from me after I try it, you'll know whether I was sufficiently careful! (just joking) Rhoda
Guest guest
Thank you - I try my best and so do many of the wonderful helpers and members here. I would be lost without them. Oleander is a highly toxic plant in raw form and so it is not something to be trifled with. On the other hand, in any given year the number of fatal poisonings from oleander worldwide is pretty much zero. There has never, not one single time, been a fatal oleander poisoning from taking oleander medicine, herbal supplement or the properly prepared home remedy version. One woman did have to go to the hospital until her heartbeat stabilized after she decided to drink an entire glass full of Anvirzel. The amount of cardiac glycosides in oleander in a normal dose is about 1/40th of the amount of a normal dose of digoxin/digitalis - which gives us quite a good margin of safety. Nevertheless - follow the instructions exactly from beginning to end or else do not do it! oleander soup , " Rhoda Mead " <firefly541 wrote: > > Tony, thanks for your clarification about making OS. > I sure hope you aren't bored with praise!
