Guest guest
In my opinion, a major change to a healthier lifestyle is usually needed. Tony discusses these changes in his book, but not extensively. The flaxseedoil2 list goes into greater detail about many wonderful healthful changes. Can be a great guide for changing diet and getting rid of environmental toxins. However, I think that there are drawbacks to following the guidelines too completely; soil depletion and wonderful research show that we need additional vitamins and minerals. Plus, because of our increasingly contaminated environment, extensive detoxification will give out bodies a better chance. Rhoda
Guest guest
Rhoda, you are absolutely correct about a change in lifestyle. Too many are looking for a magic bullet in natural medicine. I say this all the time – It just does not exist! This type of thinking is conventional medicine thinking in that they are always looking that one drug that will cure while completely overlooking the fact that the body works as a whole. I am adding an extensive cleansing protocol to the OAW site in a week or so. There will be directions on how to cleanse and keep the whole body clean as well an emotional cleansing and lifestyle cleansing protocol. In fact, the President of OAW is currently working on certification to work with people in getting their homes clean and green. He will be working with new home owners, but even more importantly those that have been in their homes and want to make them conducive to wellness. We will have different levels so that people don’t get over-whelmed and we will have separate instruction for those that are unwell or fighting disease. Much of what needs to happen is just going back to a very simple lifestyle. People who are not fighting disease or illness will not always understand the importance of this, but we are hoping to educate and inform about the necessity of getting chemicals out of the home and getting homes safe. We have literally given our lives over to toxic living by listening to the chemical companies assure us that all their chemicals are safe. We have been fed chemical lies just as the lies we have been fed by Big Pharma and Big Denistry. If companies want to continue to manufacture products that are unsafe, that is fine, but we will be educating people about how to avoid these companies. I am excited to be able to offer all of this as much of it was exactly what I implemented in my own life in order to get well. So it has been tested. J Yes, there were a lot of people who thought that I was going to the extreme, but I believe it was exactly what was needed for my healing process. People are afraid of change because it takes them out of control. A natural lifestyle should be the “norm” not something that people think of as lunacy. We need to combat what we have been fed about “needing to be like everyone else.” That is baloney – my philosophical word for anything that deters a person from getting healthy. Anyway, we have suffered from the hands of toxic living, all in the name of convenience and an easier life, for way too long. It is time to do something about it and that is the education we offer and will be expanding upon. Guest guest
Loretta, you wrote, " People are afraid of change because it takes them out of control. " . Making Choices puts us squarely in control. Taking responsibility for our health, rather than turning it over to the " professionals' is scary, moving outside the conformity BOX. Plus, it;s hard work. So much easier; but think of the lemmings! Loretta, I'm definitelyly not disagreeing with you, just clarifying some words. And Tony, yes, your book covers all the bases well. But the FOCC list answers basic questions about food and water, etc in much greater detail than this list. Why one grain rather than another, for example. Oleander, the mail thrust of this list,, would be lost among the details if we tried to duplicate that barrage of detail. Don't get your feathers ruffled!
