Guest guest
From the flaxseedoil2 list I learned about tooth soap and oil swishing. I've had gingivitis, swollen bleeding gums for all my adult life. I bought a bar of natural soap with no glycerine, and brush my teeth with a very small amount. Tastes terrible. I also take a swig of flax oil and swish it around in my mouth for at least 15 minutes. After Harry died, I found a biological dentist, who said I have NO gingivitis, and my gums are healed. I almost fell out of the dental chair! I assure you that I did both less than once a day because I was preoccupied with caring for Harry. It was still often enough to remove all plaque, and clear my gums. I do need to do the routine regularly to have that clean (no plaque) feeling and healthy gums. You can look up oil pulling, where it is studied extensively in Russia. They use sunflower oil, but I have flax oil on had so that's what I use. I do think that with a serious infection, colloidal silver looks best, but for upkeep, try a bar of soap with no chemicals nor glycerine. $1 a year in the USA because a sliver the size of a 1 inch piece of spaghetti is sufficient. Guest guest
I hate to disagree but I experienced quite a bit of cracking to my dental enamel after following this procedure for over a year. I have since read various posts online warning against h202 and Baking Soda on a regular basis. Occasional whitening treatments may be okay. jeannie >>try hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. kills the germs and makes teeth whiter too. Guest guest
In a regular basis brush with bar soap and never use toothpaste since it has glycerin in it. You can mineralize your teeth with minerals to support bone. Rinse your mouth after each acid meal. Also staying away from commercial food over a period of time is definitely beneficial. oleander soup , " Jeannie " < wrote: > > I hate to disagree but I experienced quite a bit of cracking to my > dental enamel after following this procedure for over a year. Guest guest
mcnjnj, There is one toothpaste that I do recommed... it does not contain glycerin and is made from above ground coral calcium. It will help to remineralize the teeth with it's ionic minerals and it tastes alot better than soap. http://coralcalcium.com/home.htm Bob - " mcnjnj " <olde_silas <oleander soup > Friday, June 06, 2008 7:55 PM Re: Teeth - healthier gums than ever in my adult life > In a regular basis brush with bar soap and never use toothpaste since > it has glycerin in it. Guest guest
Very cool about the oil swishing! My neighbor has had great results with it for severe inflammation due to a wisdom tooth and her teeth are whiter too. I bought some toothpaste called Restore with calcium and phosphorus ions to repair some small flaws and see if we can prevent a dentist visit for my daughter. No fluoride but no ingredients listed either. Will report back if we notice a difference. My teeth have gotten slightly whiter and my daughter hasn't complained of tooth pain lately but that could also be coincidence since her pain comes and goes. Can't quite stomach the thought of brushing with soap. Do you get used to it? Actually, it is not like you would picture brushing your teeth with regular soap. blecch. It is quite pleasant and painless.
