Guest guest
A couple of years ago, I became sensitive to deoderant, & had to switch to alcohol free etc...........I have now got an increasingly itchy scalp, and am wondering if perhaps I am now becoming sensitive to the chemicals in shampoos too???????? During a mole scan appointment the Dr said I had "dermatitis" on my scalp, but I don't find I have any scaly skin/dandruff, but just feel itchy all the time (( Anyone any ideas on what to avoid or natural alternatives that work for them in this situation? Thanks in advance )) Blessings Althiawytch
Guest guest
Yes, I have a great remede that worked for me. I took a few baths and shampooed my hair with clear glicerin soap, it's all I ever use, I use a natural bristle scrub brush, any small scrub brush would probably do, I scrub my head a little, rinse and pour a goodly amount of tea tree oil on my head, keeping my eyes closed, and scrub that a while too, then wash away with soap again. It feels terrific afterwords and cured my severe dandruff.

We are extremely sensitive to commercial shampoos/conditioners - even the the so-called " all natural " ones. When I stopped using them and going " no-poo " I thought I was going to go nuts. The water here is so very hard and made my so itchy. I have to use something. I searched for months, trying different soaps and oils. I found a shampoo/conditioner bar that has nothing more than rosemary oil, vitamin E oil and goat milk soap. When I'm done washing with that, I use a spray bottle with rosemary oil and sweet almond oil and rub it into my scalp after towel drying. Not greasy in any way and makes my hair feel really nice. There's a website that sells these things - http://www.coastalclassiccreations.com/seafoam.html -vanessa
