Quick Questions:

What is a good proportion for Cedarwood Oil to Water to be used in a

spray bottle for a room freshener?

What is a good proportion for Cedarwood Oil, Evergreen Essence Oil and

Sacred Mountain Oil to Water to be used in a spray bottle for a room

freshener? I am also experimenting with adding Valor Oil and/or Lemon

Oil. Any other suggestions?

I use a dark bottle (cobalt), 4 oz size, and add 25 drops of lemon. I use

this as a room freshener. Purification is another oil which makes a good

room freshener (or an anything freshener!) Lemon gives a very light scent.

The best thing to do is to just start small so as not to waste your precious

oils. Spritz a few times and see how you like it. If it's not strong enough,

add 10 or 15 more drops at a time until you get the concentration you like.

Remember always to shake the bottle before spritzing.

I never thought to use Sacred Mountain as a room freshener. Thanks for the

tip! If you need more info please feel free to email me.

you might want to ask the representative who sold you the

oils...however...from our " how to use essential oils' page...under

spritzers, etc..

Spritzer:

The amount of Essential Oil used depends on the purpose of the spritzer. To

4 ounces of distilled water add:

* 8 to 10 drops for the face

* 30 to 40 drops for an all over body spritzer

* 80 to 100 drops for a room spray/air freshener

Shake well, spray. May be used as facial toner, to moisten a body wrap or

as an all over freshener, or as a room spray. This mixture will require a

lot of shaking, since the essential oils do not dissolve in water. You may

first dissolve the essential oils in an ounce of perfumers alcohol or high

proof vodka, or in a solublizer like the polysorbate available on our

<http://www.naturesgift.com/aromatherapycar_ord.htm>carrier oils page, then

top the mixture off with approximately three ounces of distilled water.

HOWEVER... the 'sacred mountain oil', as described on the various YL

websites, contains a carrier oil, so it will NOT be a good choice to use in

a spritzer...for various reasons.
