Guest guest
Debbie Colgrove's Sewing Blog Really Re-Usable I've been recycling grocery bags for years now and toying with just using cloth re-usable bags. They only cost a dollar all sewn up... BUT then I stopped and really looked at that 99 cent bag in a larger box store. It's not going to hold up to laundering so I'm wondering how a bag that isn't going to make it through the laundry is " being green " ... seems more like a way for more cha-ching at the cash register and more waste for the land fill. This week I decided to start making my own bags so I can make them for everyone on my gift list. I'll be solving the " what to get " and giving a gift that is a gift to the planet at the same time.
