Guest guest Posted November 12, 2007 Report Share Posted November 12, 2007 Starr, I make hydrosols (or herbal distillates) and they have nothing to do with alcohol. They are a product of distillation. Many times alcohol is added afterward as a preservative, but by no means does a hydrosol have to contain alcohol. I don't make witch hazel hydrosol because witch hazel doesn't grow where I am in colorado.
