Natural Snail Repellent

Is there anything that I can use in my garden to get rid of the snails

that are eating my flowers. I want something that will not harm any

animals, just the snails and slugs.

When I lived in Portland,

OR I used to take jar lids and

pour beer in them. It used to work very

well for keeping slugs and snails out of my garden. It seems the slugs and

snail liked the beer.

Cat food cans buried to the lip filled with beer. Snail and slug killer.

Works well, you just have to deal with dumping out and refreshing the

beer in the cans a couple of times a week.
