This bath is great for when your joints act up, or when you have a persistent pain. It is also good for colds, flu, sciatica, aching muscles, and arthritis. 1 oz. powdered ginger Fresh ginger root for tea (optional) Pour 34 to 1 oz. bottle of powdered ginger into your bathwater. If you have sensitive skin, start with 12 oz and increase after 5 minutes. Soak for 20 minutes. You will feel your entire body heat up, and a strong healing warmth will soak into your joints. For severe cases of arthritis, take a 15 second cold shower after the bath to lock the ginger heat into your joints. Ginger Tea You will never have another sore throat if you use this remedy. At the first hint of soreness, cut three of four slices of fresh ginger root and put them into a pot with 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
