Chinese Ginger Bath

Ginger has a long history of medicinal use in China, where they

drink ginger tea to cure colds, the flu, and other ailments.

This bath is great for when your joints act up, or when you have a

persistent pain. It is also good for colds, flu, sciatica, aching

muscles, and arthritis.

1 oz. powdered ginger

Fresh ginger root for tea (optional)

Pour 34 to 1 oz. bottle of powdered ginger into your bathwater. If

you have sensitive skin, start with 12 oz and increase after 5

minutes. Soak for 20 minutes. You will feel your entire body heat

up, and a strong healing warmth will soak into your joints. For

severe cases of arthritis, take a 15 second cold shower after the

bath to lock the ginger heat into your joints.

Ginger Tea You will never have another sore throat if you use this

remedy. At the first hint of soreness, cut three of four slices of

fresh ginger root and put them into a pot with 3 cups of water.

Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes. Add honey to taste, and

drink one cupful. Or drink several throughout the day.
