Fairy Water *From Making Glorious Gifts from Your Garden by Marie BrowningUse this fairy water out in the garden as well as using it as an astringentand in the bath! Sprinkle a few drops here and there along with someglitter! If that doesn't make the wee ones want to visit your yard, nothingwill! Ingredients:1 cup apple cider vinegar1/4 cup fresh red rose petals1/4 cup mint leaves1/8 cup sage leaves1/2 cup rose waterGently heat vinegar and pour over rose petals and mint and sage leaves.Place in a covered jar and let stand, shaking daily, for 2 weeks. Decant andstrain the mixture. Add rose water to the vinegar. Decant into decorativebottles. NOTES: Vinegar-based floral waters make fine astringents for yourface and also may be added to bath water. Use as a refreshing after bathsplash, sprits for an air freshener, or uncover and let the fragrancerefresh a room.
