Guest guest Posted February 3, 2007 Report Share Posted February 3, 2007 Mayan Wonder Bars Courtesy of Blossoming Lotus Crunchy and sweet, these healthy bars are perfect for a quick pick-me-up or breakfast on the go. 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon1/2 cup maple syrup1/2 cup brown rice syrup 1 1/2 cups almond butter1/2 cup quinoa, toasted1/2 cup sunflower seeds, toasted 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds, toasted1/4 cup hemp seeds1/2 cup pecans or macadamia nuts, toasted • Preheat the oven to 350°F.• Add the spices to the maple syrup and rice syrup in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread in a well-oiled 9-inch-by-13-inch casserole dish and bake until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. • Allow to completely cool before slicing. -- ¡Bendiciones!
