Guest guest
I personally wouldn't take the risk, and throw it away. Lisa - Lisa F. herbal_remedies Monday, April 18, 2005 5:07 PM Herbal Remedies - What would you do? Hi guys,I managed to crack a jar with TN in it. There was some (not very much)glass pieces that went in it. I sifted it with a pretty fine sifter twiceto get most of the glass out. There may be teeny tiny shards, would theybe small enough not to matter or would you throw away the TN? Sorry, ifthis is a crazy question, but this was my last jar and I was hoping tosalvage it.... I was going to order more herbs today.... Anyway, let meknow what you think...
Guest guest
I would really appreciate some advice on how to handle a problem with a supplier. I placed an order online on 12/8/06 and received my order on/about 12/21/06. By the time I opened the box and checked out everything in there (no invoice was enclosed with the order), I realized there were 2 items missing. I attempted to call the supplier and was placed on the never ending hold cycle and it was close to their closing time on Friday. I realized it was a holiday weekend and that they "may" be closed the week between Christmas and New Years, but I called back again and left my information and I sent them an email about my situation on 12/20 and 1/4. I have not heard a word. Nada. Nothing!! I called back again today and left ANOTHER message and this time I wasn't too nice..........told them that if I didn't get a call back by the end of business today, I was going to report them to the BBB and anyone else I could get a hold of and I'll be happy to share their name with anyone that emails me and asks. What else can I do???? Frustrated Carla in SD :-)~
Guest guest
If you paid by charge card, you can report the problem to them. They'll usually intervene if they have to. Susan H. What else can I do????
Guest guest
Hi Carla, So sorry to hear that you had this problem. I can almost feel your frustration with it. I know that I'd be angry about it myself, if it happened to me. Grrrrr! <growling at them for ya> I'd make sure that you follow up on your threat about contacting the BBB. Just for good measure I think I'd contact them in the seller's area, as well as my own. IF you paid for your order with Paypal go to their website and check for the specific protocol on how to file a grievance with them about it. Paypal doesn't play games (and takes no prisoners!) with those suppliers who have unfair business practices (from what I hear from others, anyway). Also, their are specifically established to air your grievances in a public forum - as well as to alert others to any problems with suppliers *before* lots of other nice folks have problems of their own with these " bad guys " . I'd be happy to post the link to just such a group if the listmom approves it. Otherwise, please feel free to mail me privately at: rlludwick@ journey .com (no spaces) and I'll give you the link for one of the groups. Wishing you much success in dealing with this rather unscrupulous supplier. Grrrrr! <more growling at them> Linda L> (in Michigan where it's finally decided to be cold and snow. Ha!)
