Guest guest
Anyone have an arthritis salve recipe to share? DH is starting to have pain on the outside of his knee and in his shoulder and believes it's the beginning of arthritis so I'd like to be able to make a salve to see if it helps. I've been researching online and I keep getting all the sites to purchase salve instead of how to make it :-( Also, any other natural ways to help with the pain? Thanks and hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!Carla
Guest guest
I don't have any special recipe for a salve but you can use any salve or cream that's suitable and add some aroma oils to it, 20 - 60 drops to a 100 ml base. Oils that are good for arthritis are such as chamomile, eucalyptus, ginger, sweet marjoram, black pepper and rosemary, but there are others too. Before using any of the oils, do check their safety data, some of them should be used with care. Something else that is said to be good are glucosamine, it's made from shellfish. Ginger is also a good choice, it comes as capsules. Aching joints is a problem, to keep them warm is a help, most of the oils above have warming properties. I hope this can help./AutumnMy blog: http://uk.360./lady_autumnowl Also, any other natural ways to help with the pain? Thanks and hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!Carla Try the all-new Mail .
