Vinegar for rinse water

I actually use one cup in each rinse since I dislike any soap residue at all, and line dry alot and by always using vinegar in the rinse water I get soft line dried items. ~Beth

What type of vinegar do you use (i.e. white, cider, etc) or doesn't

it really matter much?

I use baking soda with my soap to get less smells.
