Guest guest
Get It While It’s "Hot"! by Nancy Hart I'd like to tell yo about an old favorite of mine -- Cayenne. It is a powerful local stimulant, producing when swallowed a sense of heat in the stomach and a general glow over the body without narcotic effect. It strengthens the circulatory system and is especially beneficial for the heart. Consequently, Cayenne is used for a number of conditions relating to poor circulation, including: varicose veins, cold hands and feet, as well for the prevention of blood clots. Cayenne promotes the flow of gastric juices so necessary for the breakdown and proper digestion of carbohydrates and other nutrients. It helps bring relief to upset stomach, gas and other gastrointestinal complaints. Cayenne also improves the metabolism. Cayenne is often recommended for effectively treating stomach and intestinal ulcers. It is said to stimulate the production of mucous in the stomach, which in turn then coats the walls of the intestines, soothing and protecting ulcers. Start with small amounts on eggs, veggies, bread... just about anything. Increase the amounts as you get used to it. Your body will thank you!
