we have a 9 week old baby....and we need to know if it is ok to feed

him

both....powdered baby formula..( like on the run)

and then liquid formula from the can while at home??

will that hurt his tummy and or mess up his poop....

and what is the poop suppose to look like?

As someone who believes COMPLETELY in nature.. I don't condone the use of

formula. But no.. it's NOT a good idea to switch back and forth. Their bodies

have a difficult time as it is processing formula without going back and

forth.. it can cause ill effects to their digestive systems.

A work in progress...

Bruce, and Amy,

I highly doubt that a breastfeeding group will be able to give any info

regarding formula feeding. I for one, wouldn't even have a clue what the water

to formula ratio would be to even mix up a bottle in the first place. In fact,

posting a comment about formula on a breastfeeding forum if highly likely to

receive some very negative and not helpful feedback. Maybe try www.

babycenter.com or something with a mainstream forum. Bruce, I do think you

meant well though. Amy, I apologize for not attempting to offer you another

place to look along with my comment.
