I have included her post from another group and also I am including my directions, mine was a little different. I am so excited, let's just see if this works!! Tracy, you are a wonderful person! From Tracy (Pictures are the same) Well I think I may have my mail fixed but I am not going to hold my breathIf you have comcast CALL them seemd they have changed a port number for out going mail to 587 rather then the 25 and you have to check the myClcik on tools in your OE then to accounts and properties go to server and you will see this Check the my server requires authenticity ..then go to setitng and check use same server as icoming mail... Apply then go to advanced and you will see this bellow..change your outgoing portIf this doesn't work you may need to call you may have diferet setting in your area Snagged from one of my Groups If any one has this and this may help you Huggers Beck Now this is mine (no pictures) 1. Go to Outlook Express (not the inbox) 2. Click on tools 3. Click on Accounts 4. Click on mail comcast 5.Click on Properties 6. Go to servers 7. click on settings 8. click on " same for" 9.go to advanced and istead of 25 enter 587 Make sure you click on save or whatever. I sure hope this works for everyone!!
