Guest guest
Someone asked me about this and I lost his email. Here is a simple way that I do this. I save kitchen scraps and grass clippings, leaves, and anything organic that will brake down easily. I just use the pile method. It keeps it simple for me. Pile it up,stir it once in a while when you put your kitchen scraps in there. Keep it damp. Cover it with a piece of tin or tarp(not too tight) if it's going to rain too much. The secret is to keep it damp but not soaking wet. Keep it stirred up and let the air get in, this helps with the breakdown. It wont stink if you have the right combination of air and water. Then if you want to make some bins you can. I like to keep it simple.Dig it out from the bottom, thats where to good stuff filters to.You can sift it with some chicken wire if you want....Have fun....
