I think the below is very true. I had a Korean friend who was all cocky

when she started school and said CM wouldn't be hard to learn because

she came from the Eastern culture. After a year of CM she had a

different story and struggled just like her colleagues. The other story

I have about transmission is a Chinese student I had who preferred to

study in English because she found the English writers much more

precise. The Chinese writings were too emersed in metaphor and multiple

meanings. I thought this was interesting.

The problem for us is that the best writers in English(Clavey, Bensky,

Mitchell) have focused on specialized and advanced subjects. No one has

yet tried to tackle a beginning/fundamental text which rises above

Macioccia and the Bensky and Wiseman Paradigm translation texts. I am

hopeful that Bob Damone will publish something along these lines. Also

I found the Scheid book very helpful in contextualizing the medicine if

one skips the anthropological sections.

Greetings all! I hope this email finds you all well. I was curious, & maybe I've overlooked it in a past message..but does anyone have any suggestions for hormone replacement?? I'm on the hormone pill..but don't like it because it seems to make the hair on my body/face grow faster & more course. I've increased my soymilk intake as well as eating soy burgers (they aren't as bad as you may think! they are actually pretty good when you add seasonings to it) But i still have trouble sleeping and some nite sweats.. ANY suggestions from drinking a tea, to an excercise would be and WILL be appreciated! Thanks again & many blessings Angie There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.-Edith Wharton

Actually you may want to cut back on the soy milk and soy burgers. Too much will put the hormonal inbalance in your system more out of whack. I use Evening Primrose Oil, Black Cohosh and Wild Yam as supplements and Use a wild yam cream twice a day rubbed into the soles of my feet and my palms. I also drink raspberry tea 3 times a day. Since I have started using these, I have been much better and do not take HRT's. Kelly

You could try the following tea recipe:

Menopause Tincture

2 parts Wild Yam Root

1 part Sarsaparilla

1 part Blue Cohosh

2 parts False Unicorn

1 part Dong Quai

3 parts Sage

3 parts Licorice

3 parts Dandelion Root

Steep these in boiling water for about 30 mins. Strain. You can drink this hot or cold. I always added honey to sweeten and added lemon for taste.

OR you could try going to the herb/health food store and purchasing a menopausal supplement. They worked for me also.
