Guest guest
Keeping patios weed-free:Instead of buying expensive products(for example: Weed Begone) To get rid of weeds and grass coming up in between patio blocks, carefully spread salt between the bricks and blocks, then sprinkle with water or wait for rain to wet it down When going on a picnic, here is a thrifty way to coverfood to keep those pesty bugs from enjoying yourlunch too. Instead of buying those expensive plastic food covers, purchase shower caps from your local Dollar Tree. They work perfect and are very cheap. You can get 15 shower caps for $1.00 Close off unused rooms. If you currently heat and cool several seldom-used rooms in your home, you are wasting energy and money. Consider closing the air ducts and doors in rooms used mostly for storage and occasionally for guests. Closing unused rooms may reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 20 percent, depending on the proportion of your home's total square footage the closed rooms comprise. Check with the dealer of the heating and cooling system in your home to determine whether closing off rooms has the potential to harm the system. Keeping your mattress free of germs:Spray your mattress (at least once a month) with anti-bacterial (Lysol) deodorizing spray to refresh your mattress and to help kill any growing bacteria in the mattress JodiMy Groups:/groups/EclecticStarParty/groups/JoJoJokes/groups/GottaShareThis/groups/RecipesfromMagickalKitchensModerator for:TheCacklingCauldronticktockretroclock http://www.myspace.com/irishfaerie1http://www.frappr.com/irishfaeriegodmother
