It soothes the mind and rejuvenates the heart. It is healing for tired, stiff, or overworked muscles. 5 drops of marjoram essential oil* 10 drops of lavender essential oil *Do not overuse marjoram, which is a sedative and can cause drowsiness. Marjoram should not be used by pregnant women. Unplug the telephone and put on some relaxing music. Add the drops of essential oils to hot water in the bathtub. Soak in the tub for about twenty minutes. Try to quiet your mind by concentrating on your breath. Be aware of each inhalation and exhalation. As you begin to relax, become aware of your heartbeat and how its strong, sturdy rhythm replenishes your body's energy.
