Guest guest
Motivate Yourself To Health! by Victoria I want to encourage you to choose motivation and avoid procrastination. Choose to move that body and not sit on it! Choose a big salad before that meal and nibble on the vegetable platters when you are at parties! Bring a big vegetable platter for that matter! There are so many little things you can do that will make a huge difference. You don't have to be a fanatic, but instead you just have to make some healthy choices and choose to be motivated towards your goal of good health, wellness, and permanent weight loss. I have been getting testimonials every week from people who are LOSERS! They are losing weight now, even during the times when people gain. It is because they are motivated towards good health. They are not perfect nor are they trying to be. They just know what they want, they are focused on their goal and they are reaching it. You can do the very same thing with a little application and perseverance. Weight loss and good health is yours for the taking if you choose it. Choose to be motivated NOW. Don't wait for something or someone to do it for you. If you don't feel like being motivated now, just PRETEND you are and eventually you will be! Make weight loss and improved health your top priority. At the beginning of each week, enter "appointments" on your calendar for exercise and visits to the Living Well web site to read up on all the ways you can be kind to your body. Make a list of nonfood treats to reward yourself for making healthy choices. Instead of rewarding yourself with chocolate or some other unhealthy choice, try a hot bubble bath (my favorite!) or a pedicure. Both of these treats are relaxing and will keep you on your path of good health and permanent weight loss. Get excited! The choices you make now will put you closer to where you want to be. Focus on where you want to go. Forget about where you have been. All that matters now is where you want to go and if you make healthy choices, you will get there.
