Name: Alycia HarrisFavorite flower: That is a tough one. Scent-wise, probably Jasmine followed by Orange Blossom and of course Rose. Looks-wise, I love the way roses and lotus look. Health-wise - I don't know enough yet to say. Any Hobbies: Going to school (both for fun things and formal coursework - I am a PhD student in psychology and I take occasional grad classes in the humanities; I take courses for personal development related to aromatherapy, perfume, hypnosis, spirituality, cooking and the like). When I'm not studying, my hobbies are perfume making (mostly natural, but occasionally I play around with aroma chemicals), aromatherapy, photography, oil and watercolor painting, art history/criticism, incense making, reading (fiction as well as a variety of other subjects), movies (often foreign), adult learning, communities of practice and social learning (these latter items are related to my psychology studies).

Favorite thing to shop for: essential oils, absolutes and the like; pretty containers to put solid perfume in; books of many kinds.Where do you live? North Alabama

 

You can see that I'm an eclectic person. My goal is to grow old(er) and be able to say that I did most everything I wanted to do. The older I get the more interested in natural living I have become. To me nature offers me the ultimate subject and palette; whether it pertains to food, health, painting, perfumery or more.
