Guest guest
I have a friend who has a 4yr old boy and he only weights 25lbs. This is wayyy small for his age and she is greatly concerned about him. He eats like a lil piggie all the time but still gains no weight. She has been looking for an appetite stimulant or something that will help him gain weight. If anyone can help please email me or the group attn Tprach or Rachel
Guest guest
The child may just be small for his age. I say this because I have a daughter who was (and still is) very small/slim. She is now 12 1/2 and only weighs 60 pounds. I have another daughter that is almost 4 and weights 38 <g>. Oldest DD has always worn clothes that are smaller than her age too - ie, when she was 6 she was only wearing a size 4 and now she wears a 10 slim. I've taken her to the dr. and had blood work done and they say everything is fine. As long as she's thriving, eating and acting normal (whatever that may be for a 12 yo) not to worry. Her father has a very high metabolism and I guess she was just lucky enough to be the one to inherit it :-)Carla ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - TPrach I have a friend who has a 4yr old boy and he only weights 25lbs. Guest guest
Thank you to those who have commented. She has taken him to the Dr and had test ran but they all come back normal. She is going again this coming month for one more test. Then after that if it comes back negative I will make sure she dosnt worry about him or at least keep trying to reassure her. When she has the test done I will let you know if she lets me know.
