Guest guest
The evidence I have seen heavily favours the use of undenatured whey and glutathione increasers. How else would one suppose to supply the body with such a rich source of cellular glutathione precursors or the most bioavailable protein one could eat?? Amygdalin has indicated (s)he has constructed a belief system against undenatured whey and presumably other foods based on what (s)he thinks we are " meant " to eat. I think the fact that we can assimilate and utilize undenatured whey so well shows that we are indeed " meant " to do so, and I also observe that denying oneself such a hugely powerful cure because of some biased NotMilk stories has little to do with fact that we are opportunistic omnivores with the ability to concentrate and utilize beneficial fractions found in food. I agree, Teresa; it doesn't make sense. Duncan , " Amy G Dalin " <pparadise30701 wrote: > > Hi Teresa...I have to believe the evidence, and to me it is overwhelming! Guest guest
Duncan I believe you are representing a product. i have learned it is hard to trust information from intrested parties. It is no way clear that glutathione can be augmented by consuming the products you represent. Why do we have to endure this shamless proslatising? Guest guest
Billy: It is clear that undenatured whey increases glutathione levels. Immunocal, an undenatured whey isolate that is also a prescription drug, is patented as a glutathione increaser, has a method of use patent as a cancer treatment, and maybe more. The cysteine donor-glutathione elevation property of undenatured whey is well described by peer-reviewed studies; entering Immunocal glutathione in the Pubmed search box brings up a few specific to Immunocal, and the more general search on whey glutathione brings us up a selection of peer-reviewed titles: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search & DB=PubMed This FDA slideshow explains how undenatured whey (Immunocal is named) increases glutathione and how that in turn affects the immune system and the rest of your health. http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/ac/00/slides/3652s1_05/sld001.htm http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/ac/00/slides/3652s1_05.ppt Duncan , " billy171john " <billy171 wrote: > > Duncan > I believe you are representing a product. > i have learned it is hard to trust information from intrested parties. > It is no way clear that glutathione can be augmented by consuming the > products you represent. > Why do we have to endure this shamless proslatising? > Billy
Guest guest
I have found alternatives to un-denatured whey as glutathione boosters. I am going for them now. Some I make myself (and anybody can) and some I buy from the local Ayurvedic physician (we here in India call them " Vaidya " ). Intravenous injections of glutathione are not available here. Oral form is available but Duncan is right when he says that it is decomposed in digestive tract. So I will rely on the precursors but other than whey. The products I am getting are not heated beyond 70 degree C (160 degree F). Guest guest
Ratan, What precursers for glutathione other than whey have you found? I've tried the cow dairy form of whey recently and have had problems with it. Haven't yet found a denatrued form of goat whey which I seem to handle well. Thanks, Keith psych doc <psych_58 wrote: I have found alternatives to un-denatured whey asglutathione boosters. I am going for them now.
