Guest guest
Guess you accidentally hit reply w/o watching the video. What a shame. Well to address your post, actually I can only WISH that my "mama" had been able to nurse me, since human breast milk is the ideal biologically appropriate food for baby humans. Instead I was removed from my "mama" and given to strangers who fed me cow milk (which is the biologically ideal food for baby COWS). The bottom line is that MILK is intended as food for INFANTS... it isn't biologically appropriate for anyone who is no longer an infant. - Duncan Crow Monday, March 12, 2007 2:56 PM Re: wouldja like a glass of pus Seems to me yo' momma fed you with breasts o' pus too, how was it? ;)Duncan , "Amy G Dalin" <pparadise30701 wrote:>> Here is a good one I just came across....you might want to share it with any friends you have that still partake of dairy :-)> > http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2348910096409126100 & q=john+mcdougall & hl=en>
Guest guest
I'll enter an exception to the contention that we weren't " made " as adults to use milk although I can agree that cross-species milk isn't as good as same-species milk. UNdenatured whey is the most easily assimilated protein known, bar none, in adults and in babies of any mammalian species. Using it produces the same pronounced healing and biological support in adults and in babies and this outcome is practically unobtainable by any other means. How does that reconcile with the contention above? It doesn't; let alone the health benefits, the mere fact that it is so easily assimilated puts the lie to the contention. No I didn't look at the video because I don't need to view opinions; I've been specializing in digging up accurate information for several years, and this is a subject I know very well. By the way, filtered undenatured whey doesn't contain any pus. Duncan , " Amy G Dalin " <pparadise30701 wrote: > > Guess you accidentally hit reply w/o watching the video. Guest guest
LOL! You are certainly entitled to your opinion that humans are supposed to ingest something that came out of a cow. But it is, of course, what did you call it? Oh yes, "opinion" :-) At least the author of the video's "opinion" is solidly backed up with evidence. - Duncan Crow No I didn't look at the video because I don't need to view opinions; I've been specializing in digging up accurate information for several years, and this is a subject I know very well. Guest guest
Actually the reverse of what you think I wrote, I suggested that problems with cow milk arise primarily because it's got species- specific proteins in it. There are also plenty of useful components in cow milk (or whatever mammal's milk) that are not species-specific but are actually a match across the mammalian order. These are arguably the most useful components in mother's breast milk, our bodies assimilate them well, and they are purposefully preserved in undenatured whey products. I think the whey exception seriously undermines the " dairy " scare, and it's been well-studied too. This exception is usually ignored by the notmilk agenda groups. I've maintained an evidence page on glutathione for several years, Amy; a peer-reviewed journal publication on using undenatured whey to shrink cancer, PubMed queries, the Glutathione in Health and Disease paper and also Dr. Jimmy Gutman's ebook are useful as primers. An FDA slide show at the bottom of the page that shows us how undenatured whey works in health is worth a look too. Guest guest
We will never agree, because my belief is that dairy (from whatever mammal you choose) is not appropriate for any individual past the age of weaning, and you believe that it is :-) - Duncan Crow There are also plenty of useful components in cow milk (or whatever mammal's milk) that are not species-specific but are actually a match across the mammalian order. Guest guest
Amy, I'd have to disagree with the anti-milk crowd on several points. 1. If we only ate what nature intended we'd be out digging for grubs and roots, eating everything raw. Maybe you do, and that's fine, but doesn't make it the only or best way. 2. I provide for my own dairy products, and I assure you they are chemical and pus-free. My dairy goats are clean, healthy and well-cared for, and in return I have excellent, clean milk. 3. We humans are omnivores with very large brains. We use those brains very cleverly to eat many things that are not edible or palatable in their natural state. If we're smart enough to figure out how to use an almost perfect food source, why wouldn't we? If other animals had the brains to get milk, I guarantee they'd eat all they could find. Guest guest
Hi Teresa...I have to believe the evidence, and to me it is overwhelming! But to each his own :-) - Teresa Gonzalez Tuesday, March 13, 2007 9:10 PM Re: Re: wouldja like a glass of pus Amy, I'd have to disagree with the anti-milk crowd on several points. 1.
